By regular you mean full time PhD ? If Yes then there is no ethical way to do both together. You are allowed to only pursue a part time PhD while in a full time job.

Please don't join in PhD through Aimlay, they won't let you finish your PhD until 5 years, but in the beginning they say 3 years, even after collecting all our money they don't pay it to the concerned university. They don't respond to your call after your payment

So coursework varies from university to university. Many institutions keep the coursework only on weekends , but there are some who insist on 6 months stay in the campus. So completely depends on the institute. But yes complete online coursework is not allowed by UGC

If you are leaving your job for some time then no issues. Aa long as you are not leaving for good . However there are some universities who have very strict norms related to part time scholars job like IISc Banglore. But such universities share the policies clearly before you join the PhD .

Yes it does . Though you might be required to submit an AIU equivalence certificate for the same .

Initially when applying noc is mandatory. Later most universities don't ask much. But yes at the time of admission it is a must. However it is always advisable to inform ur company about ur PhD even if u don't want a noc .

For admission in Part Time PhD NOC is a mandatory document. Coursework on the other hand varies from university to university. Could be for complete 6 months or they can call you for only weekends.

Yes you can change your jobs while pursuing a part time PhD . You can simply take a new noc from your new employer. Only IISc banglore is one institute that I have come across till now , that does not allow you to change your job. Apart from IISc no other institution has anything against it. I had a question, you mentioned that a NOC is required from the employer even when we want to fill up the form for part-time phd. If we aspire to apply for more than one university for the part-time phd, can the same NOC be used or we need to ask for separate NOC each time we apply to a different university? Also, are there any options of submitting the noc, once we are selected in the part-time phd program and not before?

NOC is required only for part time PhD not for full time PhD. Secondly these days many universities only ask for the NOC at time of admission. But in case the university requires filling then maybe you can ask for a generalized NOC initially.

On the guidelines they have not mentioned anything else but part time phd is offered to working professional and an NOC is mandatory to do the same. Wether contractual will be considered or not will depend on the institute u are applying to.
