कुछ यूनिवर्सिटी बता रही है कि जॉब वालो को तीन साल की सैलरी छोड़ कर छुट्टी लेनी होगी तब उनका पीएचडी होगा जबकि कुछ बता रहे हैं कि नही आपको बस छः माह की छुट्टी लेनी होगी। बाकी टाइम आप अपना वेतन उठा सकते हैं। तीन साल का वेतन कम से कम 18 लाख मतलब यह तो बहुत महँगा होगा इस सम्बंध में उचित rti के बाद वीडियो बनाया जाए यह भी बताया जाए कि पार्टटाइम पीएचडी कहा कहा से हो सकता है

Congrats! on this very informative video on part-time PhD. I have a doubt Sir. When you are already working as an Assistant Professor and want to do PhD, you can only do it part-time. When these Universities make it mandatory for the researchers to stay in their campus continuously for a period, to complete the course work, wouldn't that affect the continuity of service? On what grounds do you take leave from your work? Will you have to take Leave Without Allowances (LWA)? Kindly guide.

That's a complicated matter. My friend did BSc in chemistry and further Int. MSc+PhD from JNCSAR. Though the degree and institute is fascinating but he is facing some problems in employment (in govt sector). If He wish to apply in Chemistry, he needs to have Msc and PhD in chemistry (as per govt. Rules). And Materials science isn't much developed field yet. On the other hand, many scientists position specifically ask for PhD in material science, which would great. So,.you can a scientist position but may struggle with academic position. Thanks

@@pokegem8733 It would be better if you get your Masters degree in a broader field like Physics or Chemistry and then choose a specialized field during PhD. That way you would be eligible for most of jobs in your field.
