I think that the truth is, UFC wanted Gina badly and she turned them down. After the Cyborg defeat, she got acting roles and realized it was a genuine career option. Just like many many other celebrities. You have to buy into those bloodlines and non-humans and marry into them too or take their arranged marriage. This list lacks a lot of honorable mentions especially PRIDE only fighters. The ones I think are missing are: Joachim "Hellboy" Hansen, Shinya Aoki, Gesia "JZ" Cavalcante and Vitor "Shaolin" Ribeiro. I can see why the UFC wouldn't sign JZ or Shaolin since they both had poor Strikeforce runs. Though Aoki and especially Hansen I think would've been a great addition to the UFC back when PRIDE folded. Maybe the UFC never approached these four I just find them "what could've beens"

I love the UFC and I always have. When I got UFC I on video and let friends borrow it, I never saw it again. I got another copy and the same thing happened. The truth is that Dana White is as smart as a bag of hammers and his biggest problems have always happened when his mouth opens. The UFC has always needed a face to go with it. It always should have been an athlete with brains instead of a halfwit with zero imagination. The worst thing Dana White ever did was to go in front of a camera.
