I'm so spoiled living here in New Orleans that I can't live anywhere else. The food is amazing; the people are friendly; and cultural experiences are beyond those that you can find anywhere else. Thanks for your New Orleans food vlog.

Thanks for the video. I'm from New Orleans. Next time you come you should try Potatoes Souflee at Antoines, they also have a really good baked Alaska, crawfish bisque (during crawfish season), Turtle Soup Commanders Palace is famous for it or Palace Cafe. Anything at Brigstens especially the smoked crawfish or shrimp (which ever is in season) cornbread, their pecan pie with caramel sauce is fabulous. These are a few of my choices.

The number one thing to try in New Orleans is turtle soup, one of the few places in the world where you can try this soup ( Commander's Palace, Restaurant R'evolution, Arnaud's). The next thing is Creole flambéed dessert coffee- Cafe Brulot Diabolique( Antoine's, Galatoire's , Arnaud's. Also the famous Cajun Boudin sausage ( Cochon, Cochon Butcher). Stuffed Quail and bread pudding ( Commander's Palace, Restaurant Revolution's).

I lived in New Orleans for just over 5 years in the late 1980s to early 90s, and I try to visit at least once a year since. My top tip to tourists is try to get out of the French Quarter for at least half of of your time in NOLA. I would reccomend Mid-City/Bayou St. John/City Park area because that's where I lived and loved it. It has made a wonderful comeback since the floods of Katrina.

IDK that I would call Cafe du Monde a tourist trap...I grew up in the quarter and went there for breakfast all the time. Also, the bread you had your po boy on is NOT French Bread. French Bread is white, it almost looks like a baguette. And the best place to get them is Domileses, which is uptown. It's only locals. But, of course, you barely left the French Quarter. Which is a HUGE mistake most tourists make. Algiers is great, swamp tours are great, but you never saw St. Charles Avenue or Magazine street, nor did you ride a streetcar. Snoballs are out of season when you went, but Plum Street is a staple.

They said, "VERTI MARTI" instead VERTI MART. Forgive them, I do. Anyway, kudos to this beautiful duo for doing the research that led them here.

Are there any vegetables in New Orleans? What do you eat if you’re vegan? The only vegetables I saw was some lettuce & tomato on the po-boy!

New Orleans has numerous vegetarian options.Gumbo is a dish that Africans gave us, main ingredient being okra, no animal product needed. Several eggplant and artichoke dishes, thanks to our Sicilian influence, were minus meat, not to mention amazing pasta pesto and pasta agliolio with grated Grana Pradana cheese enjoyed with Gendusa's French bread.

I feel like I have been watching your videos long enough to say, what up with your hair. In the beginning of the video it looked so "fly away"... Ha ha... The two of you are normally so perfect looking... And of course another awesome video... Miss your international video's, but enjoy your local ones... How awesome to be the both of you...

Juliana here, and I can agree the hair is AWFUL. I cringed the whole time while editing. Wish I would have looked in a mirror first!

Port of Call is a Great Coffee and Beignet shop too. It is located at the Corner of Esplanade and Dauphine. However, Cafe du Monde is very, very good too - although kinda touristy.
