an alternative to number 4 KIT Scenarist- Highly recommend, it’s free and has a ton of features packed! From what I’ve read, it’s UI is similar to final draft

@@CanaldoDaniloQueiroz So upon further research, it has been archived, and updated to Story Architect…or STARC for short… There is a free version that is offered, which enables free script writing w/ integrated formatting but some of the tools previously available on scenarist are now on paid levels (like the mind map) but as of today (March 2024) the pricing is like $3 a month for the first tier and $7 for the upper tier… so less than a netflix subscription

Great video, tons of helpful resources. The check idea is great, and from personal experience I highly recommend giving that check to specifically a broke friend, someone who REALLY needs it, (they're trying to pay off school bills, they just bought a house, etc.) then they will absolutely hold your feet to the fire and not be nice and give it back anyway.
