Hey Seth! Related to the dirt jump sifting hack, you can grab some steel mesh and mould it around the top of your wheel barrow. Then as you pile dirt into the barrow, it will sift out all the sticks and rocks as you go. Then just take off the mesh when you pour it out.
@danervin25305 жыл бұрын
I’ve been using 27.5 tubes as spares in ALL my bike tires for years. Even the road bike. You can usually get them in 27.5x1.75-2.25”. This has worked for me in my 29x2.6 (they stretch), 27.5x2.35, and most impressively 700cx28mm. With the roadie repair, I put another 500 miles on it across Iowa without a problem. You just have to be more careful when installing, as to not pinch all the excess rubber.

4:15 You know the metal ring that locks the valve stem in place? On some of those rings, there is a smaller section that sticks out. You can flip it, and the smaller protrusion will fill in the gap between the valve and the hole. I apologize if that was a bit confusing, and I can DM you on Instagram if you want.

@peglor5 жыл бұрын
I bring 26" presta tubes in my pack even though I'm running 27.5 and 29" wheels mostly (Have 24" and 26" bikes too though). I reckon the 26" is the most universal donor. I've never bought a 27.5" tube as they're too close in size to 26, which I had already. The people running plus size/fatbike tyres are about still probably stuck trying to use any normal sized tube though.

You can use an old inner tube as a buffer for metal on metal clamped accessories like rear carriers that mount onto your frame. Use them in between the part that clamps on your seatpost and frame and avoid scratches. Edit: you will have to cut the tube to size obviously
