Hey guys, sorry about the re-upload. There were a few silly mistakes on my end. I misspelled Ringo Starr as "Ring Star", transformation as "tranformation" and in the older version of the video, it said that the Eiffel Tower can be seen behind Pigeon Man. That was not the Eiffel Tower (damn you Hey Arnold Wiki!). I was called out on these mistakes, by you the viewer, so I apologize. I actually felt pretty embarrassed by the whole ordeal lol Anyways, hope you enjoy the video! Fun fact: we had this video planned and wriiten since like April x)

Anyone who makes hoaxes about Fred Rogers should be ashamed, really, you wanna stir dirt on a dead man who spent his life trying to make the world a better place. That's just sad.

I’m just more annoyed with how they tried to present it. It could have been that as a former war soldier he saw the hardships of reality and wanted to make a future where that wouldn’t be a thing(well, the killing and all that, life is no doubt really hard to live through at times) and instead wanted to spread kindness and hope and unity by saying he wants to befriend anyone he can meet. Why of all things they must go down that the character was a persona to hide a history of lies?

I thought of Jimmy Savile when I heard that. For those who don't know, in Britain during the 70's and 80's the BBC would host a Saturday tea-time show called _Jim'll Fix It_, hosted by Jimmy Savile. People (99% of whom would be children) would write in to do whatever they wanted, Having lunch on a roller coaster, meeting famous people, being a fireman, finding out how snooker balls were made etc. During his life, Savile was regarded as a lovable eccentric and national treasure, being of first name terms with the likes of Elvis Presley and receiving numerous recognitions and accolades, including even a knighthood. Posthumously, it was revealed that he had molested many young girls.

I used to believe the ex-military one (not the sniper/seal junk). After learning that he was a minister, I just assumed that he was a Chaplain. But I only believed it because Bob Ross, Capt. Kangaroo, James Doohan (Scotty, Star Trek), and many others served our nations honorably. James Doohan landed on the beaches of Normandy, losing fingers. (You could see it in the show if you knew what to look for. They hid it well though.)

I think maybe the mr. rogers rumor was inspired by the true story of bob ross? Both are super nice, calm loving people, and bob was in the air force and racked up a few kills as a fighter pilot, and since he used to scream his lungs out in the military, he decided hed never scream again.

Wouldn't it be a bit interesting if Rogers really did serve in the military? In some alternate timeline, maybe he had to kill to protect his country, but somewhere along the line, he decided to spread a positive message to make up for it

@@silverflight01 Even then, Mr. Roger's will always be our neighbor, no matter what. Even a 1,000,000,000 years from now, he'll STILL be everyone's neighbor. People will still be talking about how Mr. Roger's was the best possible neighbor of all time, I guarantee it. In the same way people still love and praise Gene Wilder for his role in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, in which he improvised the poem during the Tunnel Scene, in which literally every other actor on set thought he was going insane, and he also improved the scene near the end where he yells at Charlie, telling him he lost, and how he gets nothing. All improvised by Wilder himself, so the actor who played Charlie was legitimately scared in that scene. It's amazing how he could improv so well, not once in a movie, but for 2 great scenes, in a classic, beloved movie that's still beloved even now. Same with Mr. Roger's. They'll both always be beloved icons, no matter the time period, because both Fred Rogers and Gene Wilder were both able to transcend their roles, and legitimately felt like they were right there with us, as our neighbors, and felt like family members. Sorry if I sound a bit too corny, and if I went on too long.

Mel Blanc, the true pioneer of Voice Acting was thought for many years to be dead a good 25 Years or so before his actual passing due to the Honolulu Newspaper misreporting over the UPI and AP Newswires that he'd been killed in a terrible car accident in Southern Cal. Though Blanc was indeed severely injured in such and wasn't able to voice Barney Rubble on The Flintstones for a short time due to it. He certainly wasn't dead. Newspapers in them thar old time days instead of The Internet but, the result was still the same......This kind of thing is nothing new that's for sure!

I agree. That's one nasty "theory" doing the rounds that the entirety of the Harry Potter story is actually a delusion from Harry, even having some "psychiatrist" (read- psychobabble quackery) to back this up. I'd bet dollars to doughnuts that the guy who came up with this was one of those guys who put spoilers up all the time, but now just about _everyone_ knows the story had to think "How can I spoil this for readers now?"

Poor Mr. Rogers. He was one of the nicest guys in the 20th century. And just because some stupid people couldn't accept that someone so good, kind and loving to children could exist, they invented those 2 horrible rumors. I'm pretty sure Fred Rogers would've even taken a bullet to save a children.

Oh man, I remember first hearing that Barney rumour. I was in the nurses resting room at elementary school (it was my favourite place to go and I often faked sick just to go there) with some other kid. I think I actually mildly recall that this time I was actually feeling sick, but I still did what I normally did; chatted away with the other kid (if there was any) when the nurse wasn't around. Somehow, Barney came up in the conversation, and the kid said "Hey, did you know that drugs were found in Barney's tail? And he cursed at a kid for stepping on it?" Me, being young, naive, and gullible, believed everything he told me. I even told my parents, and for some reason they didn't tell me it was bull. Until I was around 14 I still believed the rumour. Thanks for telling me everything, mom and dad.

"No time to add a proper transition effect" It's literally clicking on one thing in a video editor....it's not like they do each bubble individually all the time. But yeah people do like to make up scenes. That Tom and Jerry suicide is funny though..they've been through much worse and survived. A train would never kill them. It might hurt them and give them some feeling but it'd never kill them. As evidenced by them still around. Bart Simpson has lots of appearances with a blue shirt, I always thought it was just different for the sake of.
