Yarn winders are still something that not enough people know their need one in their lives. Get one that takes at least a standard 100g skeins! That yarn stand is a great idea, never seen one like that in Amazon though. A yarn bowl is an alternative to stop that skein rolling around the floor - again, get one that takes 100 - 200g skein. There are some beautiful designs that still work as a candy bowl if the person doesn't use yarn bowls. A yarn bowl should be heavy enough to stay in place when the person pulls the yarn off the ball.
