Found this last year and now have finally started mine. Would I be asking for a headache if I try to do this pattern in their 5 weight yarn?
@alexvela1521 Жыл бұрын
I'm trying to make this and it seems pretty easy. I have a question if anyone can help. My measurement for the back panel is 31in. I tend to have tight tension so I used a bigger hook for the foundation chain and did it to measurement. I've done a few rows and measured it again and now it went from 31 to 36 in. Can someone please explain why it got longer?
@crochetcat61073 жыл бұрын
Is there a multiple for the chain? Since your second row establishes the base of the pattern...

Just got my yarn and I'm ready to get started on this! 🤟 Just one question, maybe a really stupid one but won't the slip stitch increase in the third row make it uneven? Like the third row willbe longer than the foundation chain and cause it to get wonky? 😱
@slowbutscattered15673 жыл бұрын
I was wondering how many skeins do you need for this project for both colors? I didn't see the number on your pattern.
@AltKnots3 жыл бұрын
I don’t normally put a number since everything goes by measurement and is totally different for everyone🖤
@moghunt99 Жыл бұрын
How much yarn (in yards or meters) did you use for each colour?
@OsomlyStitched Жыл бұрын
I just finished it and it's SO big in me. The pattern had no measurements at all sadly, and no gauge. I'm gonna have to unravel it to make something else. The stitch is really pretty though, and the idea is cool.

What measurements did you use? And what measurements are good for pluz size people? I’m kinda new to crocheting! ( as in how long you made the back panel and how wide you made it!) ^^
@Atlas_Reid2 жыл бұрын
When I started out I would measure a piece of clothing I had that I liked the fit of. So take a sweater or hoodie you like the size and fit of and start chaining. You just keep chaining and hold it up to the sweater (or whatever) you’re using slightly stretching the chain a bit (don’t pull too hard!) until it’s the same width! And for the height just keep checking every few rows to see if it’s the same. Hope this helps!
