So much I could say now after watching this video, but suffice to say you hit some good points. This is also why the ad department and the news department in newspapers were so far apart even in one-room offices. Kinda like Kipling's, "East is East and West is West and never the twain shall meet." The disdain of journalists having to move over to the dark side with the demise of journalism to make ends meet writing marketing material. Now I will click on the "Work for what you deserve video." Just because. Cheers, Carrie. Nice editing, by the way.

Thanks! I spent way too many minutes (unnecessarily) moving words into a trash can graphic, so that means a lot!

This needs to be taught in MBA classes! Many of these can be used to improve our own selling and marketing while also making us beware of such practices. Great examples of tactics such as tree planting, limited time and treating specially. Thank you for sharing this wisdom and analysis with us, Carrie!! Have a great weekend!

Fiverr question for a future video: buyer ordered, I delivered the blog article, she accepted the order. 3 weeks later she messaged my to say it isn't what she wanted at all. She accepted the order without reading because she was so busy at the time (her own words,) but now she wants me to write something totally different. I've told her no, but I'd love to hear your take.

Uh, yeah. No. The order was already done and completed. If you want to save the relationship, maybe offer a discount. But since it’s a totally different project now, basing a price cut off the old one doesn’t even seem relevant.
