I don’t think it’s bull crap, but I do think you talk longer than needed for retention metrics like many KZbinrs. Fluff for the first couple of minutes for the retention metric then fluff at the end to lead people to more videos. The title is clickbait too. Marketing is mostly psychology and once you realize that, you recognize the tactics. You commented that some were successful in using your method, but omit other factors that may have led to their success. Finding the RIGHT niche takes time. And Facebook groups and other online communities these days have rules that limit marketing content, selling, and promotion. And even if they don’t the engagement in the group may be dead. So you may spend a week just finding the RIGHT communities to post in. And WHEN will people STOP talking about Taylor Swift?

I am a new ish strategist, also offering creative direction to businesses in the hospitality, food and beverage space but I haven't yet reached a place where i can promise grand results. The problem is how can you figure out if they are losing over 5000 in revenue without access to proprietary data.

If they sell a $5000 product, they're almost certainly missing out on a few sales. How much does their rent cost? What about their CEOs hourly cost? If they're wasting time, they're wasting money? Get creative and think hard about where businesses lose money. Software costs, hidden bills, unnecessary hires, wasted time - all of those add up. My other advice would be - ask people. Get on the phone and call your leads and clients up and ask them. Deep dive and uncover where they're wasting money.
