Have you never seen international rugby players. In 2019 world cup the average weight of the Togan forward pack (that's 8 players) was 118.53 kg, just 1,5 kg or about 3 pounds under the super heavyweight division, so I guarantee that there was a good number of players in that tounament that would be super heavyweights. Now whilst they are not trained fighters, they are certainly big, strong and fit/athletic men, who, if trained, would not come into the categories you describe. And yes, international rungby is stringently tested, as is dommestic rugby in the big rugby playing nations. The people are out there, there are just not enough that are good enough to have a competitive division, not enough big guys are interested in MMA (and who can blame them, who wants to get punched by another monster?) and the UFC is not interested, at least in the long term, in a division that is not competitive.

Pudzianowski actually DID fight in the US one time, in 2010 vs Tim Sylvia in an event named Moosin: God of Martial Arts. It was his third fight in MMA and, as I recall, he overestimated his fighting prowess after wins against two pretty mediocre opponents. He agreed to a fight with Sylvia against advice from the KSW management. The fight proved that Mariusz still had too poor conditioning to compete in MMA at a high level, as he basically ran out of stamina and turned red. He has since shed even more muscle mass and decided to stick to KSW.

I mean, the Arnold Strongman Classic is the biggest strongman competition right now. It even overtakes the Worlds Strongest Man competitions, and they are all held annually in Columbus, Ohio. Plus, all the strongman that have come from the U.S, example Brian Shaw, 6 foot 8 inches, 400 pounds, 4x Worlds Strongest Man, 3x Arnold Strongman Classic winner, and multi-time National strongman competitons winner is tested at almost every event all the way back from 2010-2012ish. I don't doubt that he has not used steroids at some point but with how many competitions he has done, never once did he test positive.

this video makes me kinda want a Super Heavyweight division in the UFC . Still won't cover the drug testing issue but still lol

205 should be called cruiserweight, 235 should be light heavyweight, 275 heavyweight, 325 super heavyweight. Jones wouldn't have to cut weight and he'd still be light heavyweight. Francis ngan wouldn't have to worry about going over the limit. And if Lesnar ever fought again he would only have to cut 10 pounds instead of 20.

I love how serious Garcia takes her competition. Shes like 300 pounds and 50 years younger than her opponents, and cries when she wins lol

This! She don't even go with that pro-wrestling bullshit and fight for a reason like true martial artist no to give show for a people. From that fight with that 50yo pro-wrestler when she start running the ropes Gabi just stay calm and boom. (it would be so much better if Garcia just do the same and try to KO her with i don't know name of that Move. Like that basic stuff when you run the ropes and hit opponet with bicep you know what i mean)

"Wow, do sumo wrestlers have a lot of bouts!" Yes. Barring injury a professional top tier sumo wrestler has 15 bouts (one-a-day for 15 days) every other month, during one of the six scheduled tournaments in any given year. Quick math, that's 90 bouts per year!

"Zuluzinho" means Little Zulu, after his father, who was Rei Zulu (King Zulu). The word "Zulu" is a reference to the african tribe of the same name. King Zulu was a pioneer in Vale Tudo (early MMA), made famous after fighting Rickson Gracie, in a legendary fight.

So we must believe that there are actually serious drug test in MMA in the USA and that's why Pudzianowski doesn't compete in the USA? Well... o.k. keep believing.
@rdizzy14 жыл бұрын
USADA is actually really strict drug testing, out of competition and in competition. If you can pass USADA for years, you can pass olympic testing. KSW in Poland has ZERO testing, even a current champion has said as such.
@machinegunpreacher24694 жыл бұрын
"Not-as-good-as-we'd-like-to-see" in the US is still lightyears above "virtually-non-existent" which is the standard in most of the world. I like Pudzianowski, but a guy that age can't look like that without some serious help. He'd have to deflate like Overroids had to.
@SurmaSampo4 жыл бұрын
@@rdizzy1 Yep so strict that often athletes have to retire entirely to get medical treatment because their testing will fail someone for indicators that someone may have taken a drug that theoretically could be used to mask the use of other drugs.
