@Create Change Bisping, DC and Cruz are all great. I'd pick Bisping out of the three though, for the sheer entertaining factor. Before them, I thought Kenny Florian was surprisingly good. It was honestly much sadder seeing DC lose again to Jon Jones. A very high-stakes fight where DC not only came up short again against his biggest rival, but got finished in the process. You couldn't help but feel bad for DC with that Octagon interview where he was concussed and bawling his eyes out, it hurt to hear him say "when you lose two fights I guess there is no rivalry". The fact Jones cheated by taking steroids only compounded matters.

@@jadelees9005 I guess it's a matter of opinion. As is many on this list. You don't have to like Askren as a person. But a guy who went undefeated his whole MMA career before the UFC. Always wanted to "prove he's t bgg e best in the world". Retires, ends up coming back as a result of the first trade in UFC history. Finally gets in the UFC. Has a controversial first win. Then gets murdered in 5 seconds in his second. Then submitted against Maia in a fight he was otherwise winning and goes on to retire. The guy had his dreams crushed. I consider that a saddening loss and end to his career.

The cormier loss in the rematch with Stipe a was not heartbreaking, especially after cormier avoided the rematch and said stipe didn't deserve it, instead giving a title shot to Derrick Lewis who absolutely didn't deserve it (all because he knew it would be an easy win for him). And after cormier again poked the crap out of stipe's eyes, it definitely wasn't heartbreaking. That was a great moment for miocic.
