Karly, first of all I want to thank you for your knowledge and your videos because they have helped me a lot exploring the world of skipping and has made my morning cardio really fun. I feel as I'm a kid again, playing outside instead of doing my mandatory cardio as an addition to bodybuilding. Is there any particular way how you would program a recovery workout? For 'non-training' days? I thought about the standard variables such as lowering the volume and intensity but I'm not sure how that would translate and if there is a better manner, so to say. Thanks in advance 😁

Great question. It really depends on your current fitness level. If you're wanting to use your jump rope as a recovery then I would use a light rope for 3-5 minutes and break it up with side swings. That keeps its low intensity similar to walking. ;-) Every 3-5 days or sooner if body is sore from a high intensity workout or heavy weights.

@@JumpRopeMom thanks very much for your reply! I'm sorry for not responding earlier. KZbin didn't notify me unfortunately. My main fitness is centralised around bodybuilding and I'm going to implement the suggested strategies and report back if you like. Again thanks very much 😁
