Super helpful, thanks. I think a good video would be for warm-up exercises to do before jumping. Did you do that already? Thanks

Thanks very much for the reminders. I've noticed that some strange (probably) overcompensation is starting to creep in. Before I start my set I lift up my toes and bend my knees until such a degree that my heels are off the floor and use that position in order to do the variety of jumps. As for the use of the wrists, I find it very difficult to have that 'active' engagement / tactile feedback from the speedrope without using some sort of whipping motion from the underarms, is that something which is common or do I need to unlearn that? Thanks again for the video! 😁
@JumpRopeMom2 жыл бұрын
Try using a heavier rope so you have feel the feedback. 1/4 or even 1/2lb. If you need one, check out my line www.gratituderopes.com :) Thank you!

Hi, I’ need an advice regarding the length of the rope. The rope that I have, one handl goes up to my armpit, and the other is down to a hip. Does that mean that the rope is too short? And what should I do with it?
@JumpRopeMom2 жыл бұрын
Hi Edvard. You want to pull up both handles evenly and they should both come up to around your armpits. If not, then yes it's short.

@@JumpRopeMom that’s what I thought. Thanks. And just out of curiosity, if I was to get one of your ropes on your website, how much would they be?

That is amazing! Great job and never too late to learn. I'd start with a PVC rope 6-8mm would be perfect. I also have my own line that comes with 3 ropes. Great to swtich up and challenge yourself as you progress.www.gratituderopes.com/
