Lottie Murphy has practiced Pilates since the age of 16, which allowed her to remain uninjured, fit and healthy for a whole 3 years of intense training at Ballet college.
She followed her love of pilates after dance college and in 2012 trained with the respected Body Control Pilates in London and is UK Level 3 Mat qualified as well as holding qualifications in the Reformer and Chair Pilates.

While people often say Pilates leaves you with “long, lean muscles,” technically all muscle is lean mass. But the workout does strengthen and stretch your limbs in one go. Oftentimes, people feel that their body has been compressed, tense, and tight beforehand but leave the studio feeling more loose and more aware of their body

@@joannax9636 if u want to lose fat, u need to do hiit, dance, run etc. but u also need to eat, yes eat. But try to not eat processed food or junk food, candy or chips etc. drink water and get a lot of sleep. Do Pilates too, it help to build strength muscles, if u want to have more showing muscles u need to start lifting. I hope it helped

In my experience that means you've really done a good workout .... I often feel quite shaky aswell after doing intense exercises but once I'm recovered and steady again I feel stronger and like I've burned off fat.

I’ve been doing this Pilates workout along with my weight training. With a good diet I’m definitely seeing some changes! This is one of my favourite workouts!

Very good video. Just started to exercise at home again after slacking off for months. 10 min videos are just what I need. Also cardio isn't my thing. Pilates is the way to stave off that pesky stomach fat.

What a great and short pilates routine covering for me what i think to be covering as much of the body as possible in a very short 10 minute routine. Its 3am in the morning and i am starting my day after a stretching video miltary style on youtube. I feel exhilirated and ready to start my day!

Then one where u raise your leg while balancing on only your foot is so hard I was shaking so much, and omg I am not flexible my leg barely extended at all. But pilates by far is one of the most relaxing workouts I have ever done will totally do this for my anxiety, and for my pageant prep.

This for me is a wonderful and timely workout!! I've been terribly busy and always sit in front of the computer. I used to do Zanna van Dijk's HIIT exercises but these days due to short of time I was looking for an easier and shorter exercise-- easy to carry out, less than 15 minutes, not too much effort yet still stretch and flex the muscles. Thank you adidas Women for posting this one!! I can do it every two hours and it refreshes me and warms me up in cold weather. PS, more 30-min workout from Zanna van Dijk please!!!
