One of the things I like about the opening for Prey (which I went into having seen it before in lets plays) was that if you pay attention, you get a few clues that not all is as it seems. Specifically, somewhere during the helicopter sequence there is a flight of birds that takes off that looks not quite fully rendered. There’s also a note on one of the computers regarding the birds and instructions to leave them out next time.

The most mind-blowing thing for me is that in prey 2017, after you’ve acquired some neuro mods, you can actually go back and finish the test, you get an achievement for it too. But it hit me because that’s why they were confused during the test in the initial part, because you were supposed to be using the powers but your current version didn’t have them. The only thing "mind blowing" about Prey 2017 is that there's people who unironically like it, yet have IQs high enough that they can dress themselves without drowning in their own drool. But I guess that's true for every Arkane game, I mean the Dishonored series is essentially "Basic Bitch: The Game," yet people acted like that was this huge upset that was going to re-invent multiple genres... Until they realized that literally every game it was being compared to is better, and started rolling back their smack talk on HItman, Deus Ex, Bioshock, Farcry, and Assassins Creed. Prey 2017 needed to underperform in sales and reception for society to learn a lesson... Which they refused to learn anyways. But at least Prey 2017 got a pretty solid "meh" from most people, and every time something with Bethesda's name on the box underperforms or fails, that's a victory for everybody.

It‘s just such a major twist of events, and I‘m not only talking about Shepard dying. God of War 3 is one of my favorite openings in any game and my favorite level of the series. At the time there wasn’t anything as epic as battling Poseidon in his various forms.

First time i played tlou 1 i cried like a baby during the scene where joel's daughter is on the verge of death , the sound of her breaths that is slowly fading yet she tried to hold on to it is just so heartbreaking to hear, I had to take a break for a few minutes because of that . When I read the title of the video I immediately thought of MGS5 and I'm glad that the game made the list. What sucks for me, though, is that not the whole game is like the opening. I knew that it was an open world game and I kinda have mixed feelings about it, I love some stuff but I dislike other, but I really wish that the whole game was like the beginning. Very linear but so tense and cinematic and epic in scale. Kinda like all the games before 5. But for some reason they decided to water it down by being an open world game with repeating mission. And yes, I know about the whole Kojima vs Konami thing. They didn't give him enough time but I wonder if they did would the game be much better or just be the same but with a real ending.

If doing another with older games, FFX is the one that immediately came to my mind. In fact, having never played it before - when I was a lot younger - I asked a friend if the whole game is a sports game. Furthermore, even after that opening, there are plenty of more weird "opening" parts, such as getting found by a group whom you cannot understand, all the way up to the first meeting with Yuna (yeah, I had zero spoilers, so I too assumed the summoner was a dude). The whole situation was weird, but especially the opening took the cake with Auron purposely letting you go after braving the entire Sin flood together... writing this makes me want to go back and re-watch the opening again...

While it is very long, jedi fallen order, it is one of those starts where it is just 'everyday life' but then you are fighting your way through stormtroopers on a moving train, while being hunted by inquisitors, finally going toe to toe with one only to run away, it is so chaotic and a little overwhelming but it was very memreble to say the least.
