I have chronic pain and carry a lot of tension in my shoulders and neck. I try to do this routine each morning and it makes a big difference in my pain throughout the day! It also improves my posture (naturally, without trying to "force" myself to sit straighter) AND helps me breathe more deeply through the day, which means clearer thinking and less headaches! For some reason, my life has turned into a cycle of my shoulders and neck tensing themselves up and gradually ruining my posture. Then it hurt for a few days with a heat pack and my mother massaging me, then fixing myself up and then the tensing repeats, I'm going to try doing this every day, and hopefully it helps. I did this simple yoga routine two days post partum after a two day labor and two days of bed rest and it felt amazing just to simple stretch and move. Felt every stretch after all the chest concaving of breastfeeding. Love it

Ok this was my first attempt at stretching 3 months after discectomy and bilateral decompression. Recovery slowed due to living in a hostel and the mattress is crap. My downward dog - so tight in my hams but all in all felt so good to stretch. Thank you for a truly beginners yoga set 💖

I've done this 4 times in 3 days tomorrow I'm going to do the routine twice and go for a 30 min walk and try doing that from tomorrow until Monday and then I'll find a 30 min yoga routine video so I guess this week u could call my warm-up week.

Hey Deadpool~ Welcome! Sarah Beth is fabulous! She has helped me immeasurably, especially with my lower back and my hips - all while sharing with me the inns and outs of yoga. I have gotten so much out of my yoga sessions with her these last three years or so. I do yoga every day, even if it's just Sarah Beth's Basic Yoga Warm-up or 10-Minute Simple Yoga Flow or one from her Deep Stretch series or one of her cool down routines. I started short and small and worked my way up very slowly over time. Finding her was a gift; staying with her renews that gift every day. Good luck!

I'm a new subscriber and I just wanted to say that I LOVE your videos!! It is so easy to follow! But had some problems whit the cow in you hip opening video :/ whit my legs. And the part where you lay over the legs whit your belly I'm kinda fat so can't go down that way a lot. But I think that will come whit time! And live you have moderate it for those who need it!!! ❤ Last thing I looove the way you talk as well 5 stars out of 5 from me 😍 Hope my raiding makes sense. I know that it is not that good on English because I'm dyslexia and a I'm from Denmark. So not in my 👅

I don't understand how to do a "cow" while sitting like this. I don't feel any stretch if I keep my back vertical like in the video, it feels like either my arms are too long or the knees are too high, I need to nearly lay down on my back to feel a stretch...
