I'll be a dissenting voice and say I really like that there aren't timers, and that the visual is something other than just the stretch all the time. To me it makes it feel more organic and less like drudgery. This lets me do some stretching without getting caught up in being perfect or doing exactly 30 seconds. Pretty much everyone else does timers in their videos, and that's probably what most people are used to, but I like this and have been coming back for the calming vibes.

Great sequence, but I have the same feedback as others - needs an audio/visual timer to indicate when we’re switching, I sometimes didn’t realize we’d changed sides/moves until the video was already partway into the next

I stopped because of this, no idea of when to change positions.

Excellent stretches. Agree with majority of comments. Pause longer and allow participants to enjoy the full 30 seconds ( ideally 60 ).

Definitely add a timer to your video and don’t shoot you talking during the video I only want to see what you’re doing in the stretches. You could have an Up Next window box in the top right so we know it’s coming. Working us through the routine was nice.

Personal note: I’d recommend either using this as a post workout flexibility add-on OR doing some brief warmups for any stiff muscles (maybe 30sec~1min each of stiff areas, totally maybe 5~10min). While 2/3 of these are good dynamic stretches, folks should be told avoid static stretching cold muscles.

Thank you I feel a lot better. If you add a 30 sec timer for every movement on each side it would be great! I just started today with intentions of doing this every morning. stop pause video count play might not be encouraging after a point.

Same feedback. timer per stretch would be a huge help. I had to count during my stretches and then rewind the video back to catch the next one. Nice morning stretch to get the day going.

Great routine. I look at lots of these and this is one of the best. Very complete. However for first 3 mins I thought you were summarising what we will do to prep us (you are gonna I.e future tense 😆🤣😆🤣). You already have the most important comments: timer, slow down a bit to take us with you, and a whats next thumb nail). Keep it up, keep us strong

I don’t find it a problem not having a 30 second timer displayed. I do whatever time feels comfortable. I may finish one stretch after 20 seconds or another one after 40 seconds. Just listen to your body and do what feels right for you.

There is no timer because he doesn't want you looking at it and losing form. 30 seconds is usually 10 reps slow. The video is an instructional video of which you can do it yourself with a timer😊

It would be great if we actually could do the entire sequence holding each exercise for the full 30 seconds. A timer would be good as well.
@ThomastheJ14 Жыл бұрын
Great exercises, but there wasn't consistency with you demonstrating the stretch for the amount of time that you suggested we do each exercise. It would be nice to play through and follow along with a timer. The demonstrations do a way better job of showing the stretches as opposed to the explanation, in my opinion. Regardless, great stretches, thanks for sharing.

Great video, but I really don't need to see you standing facing the camera explaining the move in between moves, it doesn't add anything to the video, and in fact, if I'm watching the video trying to figure out the next move, it would've been much more helpful if I could see you actually doing/demonstrating the move

Good movements... but there's too focus on your video rather than the stretches. There's no verbal cues or guidance so I'm constantly picking up my phone to look at the video to see what you're doing next. A voice over could help viewers follow along easier without trying to watch what your doing in the blacked out changeover periods. Thanks for the movements though 🙏
