I know this is an older video- but I found it while hunting for stretching videos I could use before bed that weren’t too long since pregnancy means I want sleep ASAP lol. I really loved the visual countdown you had up and oh my word. In all the videos I’ve watched I hadn’t had one teach the IT band stretch. Holy moly I needed that. Thank you!

I absolutely love this video! Thank you for putting the pregnancy videos out, it really helps to have something to follow and to know what is safe for pregnancy. The stretches really help!

Did this after a lower body workout. I did not do the twists- I've been told by other instructors that twisting during pregnancy is not safe... also frogs pose made my stomach ache right after. Looked it up and it says not to do frog pose especially after the first trimester. Just a reminder to do what's best for you, but I would be careful with some of these stretches while pregnant.

Hi Lauren, new to your workouts and working through the second trimester playlist. This has been a godsend - I used to do intense workouts but the first trimester has been so rough, these workouts have been a great reminder that I have to know my limits but I can still get some focused movement time. 14 weeks pregnant, first workout/ stretch because in the first trimester I would throw up whenever I tried to do a workout…😅 This was hard but so good, will try to keep it up and get less tight! Thank you!

I read a few articles that said twisting stretches like the Glute Spinal Twist aren’t safe during pregnancy. Is this true?

I haven’t heard that, however, individual differences can mean that some things are safe for some and unsafe for others. You know your body best and what feels right or doesn’t. Always check with your provider. ❤

Idk if it’s my extremely weak core or what but the clam exercises and the side forearm planks were impossible to do. Can you provide alternatives for those please?

Hi! You can keep your hips on the ground for both the side forearm planks and the clams and gradually work up to lifting your hips off the ground! Which video are you referencing, just so I’m aware? You commented on a different workout!

The second pose, I called my husband to help pull my thighs together so I could get up.. are you sure it's for pregnancy? I couldn't get up by myself 😭😭😭

Sorry about that; Google sometimes places ads arbitrarily. I can go on and manually fix it; however, I do have to runs 1-2 ads in my videos bc it costs me money to make the videos and I need to support my channel to make it free for viewers ❤

I do not recommend this video to anyone pregnant. Several poses (the seated closed twist, downward dog, and forward fold) are not recommended as safe yoga poses for pregnant women! Of course, do what you’re comfortable with, but as a frequent practitioner of yoga, I can’t get behind this sequence.
