I love this practice. It reminds me of the first practice I learned from Swami Rama. I am a yoga teacher who had an accident and basically can barely do any of these asanas. I do have spinal issues now. But I did this video making modifications for myself. Maybe it will not work on my waist as much, but at least it will get me moving again. Thank you

Watching this video without listening instructions will be worthless.... U must hear and follow every steps defined in this video I used to do all these asanas from last one month & getting visible result also living a healthy life with maintaining healthy diet.... ❤️ It will also reduce stress and helpful for mental well-being.

The only way to reduce belly fat and maintain a good waistline is by eating healthy diet, regular exercises, lots of drinking water, no drinking and no smoking. I have done it in the past doing it today and will do it in the future. I am not boasting but I do have a good physique.

🙏🏽 Namaskar. Yes! That's why I must remember that it is preferable to do practice the Surya Namaskars after the sun comes up. . Surya = (sun) so one may as well align with and say hello to it in the morning first thing. If you do it first thing in the morning it will be impossible to postpone and forget throughout the rest of the day. Also, by doing so early it helps to raise the metabolism and set the pace for the metabolism for the remainder of the day plus you will be able to greet the rest of the day with a more constructive frame of mind.

@@hey346 broke something in my right knee while doing intermediate yoga. Can't do any exercise till it gets better. I was a gymnast till I was 16. It been 2 decades past, I don't have enough flexibility left. Will start doing in few weeks. Will update.

@@greatmom2248 Salam Alaikum & 🙏🏽 Namaskar. May I suggest that you practice at least 3 months and daily to see a significant transformation. Also, being mindful of your knee issue, as your knee heals, practice the movements as much as possible from a seated position. Postponing all active yoga practice until the knee heals, IMHO would be a mistake as you will be surprised how quickly the rest of the body's condition deteriorates, even in the course of 3 weeks. So, though you may not be able to involve your knee as it heals, attempt to concentrate on the remaining parts of the body and then slowly bring your knee back into the picture. If your knee is still injured after 3 weeks perhaps you should see a doctor as the condition may need an higher level of attention. One of the primary reasons affecting longevity is mobility, so it is important to address such matters as early in life as possible and maintain a disciplined and dedicated regiment of yoga practice throughout. All the best to you my friend and you will be fully restored as soon as possible, InSha Allah.

🙏🏽 Namaskar. Follow her advice and you will see it will work wonders, especially for you, the lateral moves. And the results will be relative to your level of dedication. From my experience, try _at least_ daily for at least 30 minutes of practice. If you aim for every day, due to natural circumstances you will find yourself practising 5 to 6 days each week. It is better than aiming for 3 days a week and only practising 1 day per week , if any. You should begin to see significant results within 3 months.

🙏🏽 Namaskar. Yes, she knows what she is talking about. It is refreshing to find a video where the yogi understands and explains well the practice. Too many times it is: "do this. Why? Because I said so!" lol The yogi lady from the yoga institute takes the time to explain not only the what but also the why. Hi! I have a question- when we stretch or bend sideways, do we hold breath for 6secs and release only when we lift up or keep breathing?
