I have been punching plastic tanks and walls without doing any knuckle conditioning and kind of have blood coming out. Should I let it heal or keep going?

i think punching on punching bag will make you stronger and tough then punching on wall…it will just give you bump in hand and may your fingers and palm become tough…but its better to punch on bag to make your whole upper body tough…

You can always count on being damaged, regardless of how skilled you are, so you are correct in your conclusion that the only thing that matters is how hard your hand is. But your hand isn’t hard. Because you’re not punching anything hard. You’re not generating any amount of significant force, or throwing punches that would be used realistically.

Whst hes doing isnt a direct cause but hes contributing to the causes of arthritis, so hes more likley to get it now even if he doesnt now, if he keeps this up calluses can form in the bone.
