Jaws: the Revenge is hard to beat for insane shark movies, because of its budget, quality of actors, and that those involved seemed to going in with the best of intentions (at least Lorraine Gary et al in an interview before the release - although Michael Caine later claimed it was a cash grab).

At least Revenge has a more direct tie to Jaws with Ellen Brody stepping into the role of someone whose suspicions aren't taken seriously until a shark swims up and bites them on the @$$. Nevertheless, I think both deserve a remake, because they have fun premises!

Michael Caine even missed collecting his Oscar for Hannah and Her Sisters because he chose to do pick ups for Jaws The Revenge instead of going to the ceremony (and he definitely could have skipped those had he wanted to).

One thing that's not ridiculous about Sharks being experimented on is that we do it. Sharks are almost completely resistant to cancer, so we study them to try and understand how. It's a possible route to helping a lot of people.

@@movietimelines So I've been breaking my brain and need some expert help. I cannot find you're episode with SALTWATER: ATOMIC SHARK (the one with Jeff Fahey, directed by Griff Furst). I was trying to find out if that is the same movie listed as ATOMIC SHARK (directed by Lisa Palenica). This 2nd film is impossible to find nor can I locate any real info on it; all mentions apparently are discussing the first film. - Do you know anything about this "AtomicShark-gate"? Is there actually 2 movies? Did they make your episode disappear?

I don't understand the fascination with Sharks. Why not Squid. These guys have tentacles and spit ink. Any of these movies would have been better with the humble squid: "Squidula", "Sky Squid", or even "Dicksquid". C'mon Josh your next movie has to be "Squidnado" The Franchise rights alone will make you richer than you can imagine
