It is true start the day slowly and preparing the day. I start with small exercises and a pray. Set my goals and ask for God's blessings and protection. Eat healthy, speak well and take care of your body. Write down your bigger goals and wishes, train your mindset and go for it. That's the way that fits me well.

Great vid. The only thing that I slightly disagree with is number one in avoiding distractions. I think maybe avoiding “useless” distractions may be the appropriate choice of wording. Mainly because my daily morning “distraction” also drives my “exploration” and need for learning, which happened to be number two on the list. It may appear to be a useless distraction, but for me, it’s a focused distraction.
@hirokurosaki13682 жыл бұрын
I highly agree to this. I am learning different programming languages, but I often get distracted due to my random thoughts of curiosity about randoms things, especially about science, technology, and history. I might get distracted a lot, but those distractions led me to exploring things that fascinate and satisfy my curiosity. They might call it distractions, but I think that these kind of distractions are informative or educational.

Intelligence is relevant. Me and a friend of mine helped a Neurosurgeon, who was stranded on the side of the road in the Texas pan handle for hours until we came along. He had one broken fan belt so we disconnected the belt to the AC and reconfigured it to the main crank and got the car running long enough to get him and his wife to the next town. He said "I'm a Neurosurgeon and people are always remarking and/or insinuating that I must be a genius". "I've been sitting here for over four hours and you guys came and fixed my car in less then 20 minutes". "Today you guys are the geniuses". "I'm forever thankful you took the time to help this dummy out". Common sense can get you pretty far in life and it can be learned. It's not so much what you know as much as it is who you know. Learning how to leverage and cultivate these relationships will get you a lot further in life than being labelled a genius.

Mastery: Conversely, there’s a productivity video of “20 hours to learn a skill” that says you should target your skill level to “good enough”, not mastery. Lots of good in this video, but don’t feel pressured that you should do all of this. The rambling 15-minute journal sounds like a great idea, though. Gonna write about cats! :P
