Slicey is awesome. Check out his channel. He puts out a ton of good content and highly underrated. And every now and then you get a taste of his standup. Also, I bought the Ikuchi after seeing SD’s review of it and it’s probably my most carried knife right now. Awesome steak knife and I put Cuscadi ironwood scales on mine.

Thanks! I always enjoy "under rated" vids -- and goodies! I have a few of these and can definitely endorse the Chaparral and the Valet. Wonderful knives. The spider monkey is more of a mixed bag. Great size, great finish, great blade but the action on mine has always been way too tight. I think I might need to break down and send it back for service. It doesn't use the usual hex bits so I can't adjust it myself.

CS American Lawman has been my work knife since I got it. I have borderline abused it, but it cleans up looking brand new. Not sure what they use to coat the blade but it hasn’t worn off at all.

Love the Chaparral, just a few bucks more than the Delica and has much better steel, much better ergonomics. Haven't had my hands on the Bareknuckle, but I have been very impressed with the American line of Kershaw the last couple of years.

The American Lawmen in my opinion is the best knife under $100. It’s not my favorite knife under $100 because I like light weight knives so my favorite is the Para 3 LW. Also the Barenuckle and Knkckout are great knives and you can usually find them on sale.

Spyderco caly 3.5 cf is my go to gent knife. Overlooked alot probably due to price but prob the best thing out of japan factory.

Delica is better in the hand, particularly if you have big hands. Can get a full grip on it. But I agree, the Chaparral is the better knife over all. Can get enough grip.

I prefer the Delica over the Chaparal. It works and it's cheaper.

The Byrd Meadowlark is nearly 4x cheaper than the Delica, it works, and had considerably better ergonomics.
