@@DCLCInstitute I just had a conversation yesterday with a couple that the husband goes to one church, the wife church hops and the son goes to another. I told him as the man, it's his responsibility to get them to the same one. Even if its the one he doesn't prefer.

Thanks for the advice but you have different stories for different people, because what may work for you and your wife might not work for someone else.

That is true. But there are some principles that just work in marriage regardless.

A lot of this is great advice, but why prayer and church? Prayer is talking to the wall or the air; doing it together doesn't change that. And church teaches women to be subservient to men, rather than empowering the woman you love to be her own person and an equal partner. Among all your good advice, prayer and church attendance are big flops.

As for your kids, this “get 'em while they're young and naïve” mentality only words till they're able to fact-check the sermon on their phones.

@@imagomonkei I'm sorry for the church experience you had or have heard of. Our church isn't like that. Jesus empowered women. We empower women. My wife preaches. Our worship leader is a woman. Our prayer lead is a woman. Our kids lead is a woman. We pour into women at our church and develop them to be the leaders God created them to be. As for husbands role, well Ephesians 5:25 says "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her." That means as men, we are called to die for our spouse. You can fact check me all day and so can my kids as they grow up, but if husbands would learn to serve more, we would have less divorce. And we learn that from the Bible. I'lll have more conversations with you if your interested. Either here, or offline. You can also check out our church here and listen to a woman preaching and being empowered. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hGSzgXynp7Stpacsi=iXejEPbyMg7ldUB9

@@themarriedlifewithJoeAndKrissy it sounds like your church may have a healthier approach than most (and than the Bible). I'm not here to antagonize, I just saw your video recommended to me and was disappointed to hear the preaching midway through. Most churches aren't like yours.
