It does not matter how many times I've been in Tokyo. There are ALWAYS new places to visits and new/great restaurants to try.

Thank you for an informative Tokyo tour. I have been searching for a place that I remembered in Tokyo from many years ago, but could not find again. I believe your video showed me that my 'missing spot' is in Shibuya. After going down a side street, there are stairs down to an interesting area below street level. For many years I looked but could not find that place again. I will now look for a video about Shibuya and hopefully it will 100% identify it for me. Can you recommend a Shibuya back street video please?
@tokyokenchan Жыл бұрын
Hello again. That is interesting. I haven't checked any other Shibuya videos, but is that this spot? I'm not sure what the "an interesting area below street level" was like, but I passed here recently. goo.gl/maps/FH8NLJhpkPYVpiQD9 Thank you for watching. :)

@@tokyokenchan Thank you for trying to help me. It quite possibly is the place. I am going back to early 90's and of course I'm that area would possibly have changed considerably. However the decent & stairs looks similar. From memory it was not too far from that Akita dog statue (outside Shibuya JR station where people meet). When I try to use your Google map I to find my way back to the JR, I end up hopelessly lost. I will keep on trying as it's fun to look around. Thank you again.

Hello! Thank you for your very informative videos! Do you recommend to go to ikebukuro? We have heard that Sunshine City has appealing activities like a huge Pokemon Store. What do you think?
@tokyokenchan Жыл бұрын
Hello. I went the Pokemon Mega Tokyo in Ikebukuro recently. It was super busy with Pokemon fans. They have lots of Gachapon center and head store of Animate too, so it is a good place if you are interested in those topics. :)

Happy to have found this insightful video, Kengo-san! 🙂 My go-to places should I be there: Asakusa, the Imperial Palace gardens, Uniqlo and Muji HQ stores, and of course, Shibuya! Lots of gratitude for the thoughtfully-compiled video, Kengo-san! 🙂

Thank you for watching this video too Gio-san! I'm glad you liked the video. The places you chose are a nicely diversified spots to visit in Tokyo. That gives me a great hint to make a new video too. :) Thank you for letting me know!

Excited to visit! May I know what places you recommend visiting in Tokyo during the Winter? Thanks! 🙂
@tokyokenchan2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching! That's a good question. Unless you go to countryside or hot-springs with lots of snow, there aren't much difference in Tokyo in regards where to visit. Some foods like Oden and Nabe is better in winter. I'd like to let you know if I come up with something later. :)

@@tokyokenchan Great! Thank you, would be sure to check out some Oden spots :-)

Hi Kenchan , I am planning to have medical treatment at QST hospital . Treatment days are on Tuesdays to Fridays , no hospitalisation needed only day treatments . What trips do you recommend as I only have Friday afternoon till Monday night and also after treatment preliminaries are done , I have one free week to travel . I will be at Chiba for about 4 - 6 weeks . I have never been to Japan before and would really appreciate advice from you .
@tokyokenchan Жыл бұрын
Hi. Are you staying near Chiba station from the Friday to Monday after the day treatments? If so, it takes about 40 min. to Tokyo station by JR train. If you are not too tired, I think you can explore Tokyo city center, such as Asakusa, Ueno. These places are fun and safe, but busy during weekend, so I recommend you to protect yourself well from crowd. If that's too much adventure, you might be able to take monorail in front of Chiba station and go to Chiba City Zoo, if that is something you are insterested in. For the one week off, it might be good to go to natural hot springs in countryside to get relaxed in the nature. Let me know how you think. Wish you the best.
