Correction: A legit bird the size of a doll cannot learn to carry a human on it's back. Even Pidgeot is only around four feet, not to mention birds have hollow bones to cut down on weight. If the biological requirements are that high just for self sustained flight, imagine what it would take to carry someone at least 2 times your weight.

Barry. Just Barry. He waits in one of those city-route transfer things in diamond/pearl/platinum and before you even know what you’re doing, you take two steps forward on your bike and surprise! Rival battle! He even comments on how you always have to be ready! Also, I think this is the battle where the second his Staravia gets to low health, he’ll Endeavor-Quick Attack combo you. Very annoying.

Unfairness in a nutshell: Me: Uses 6 Double Teams Also me: Uses 6 Smokescreens My opponent: 'Walrein used Sheer Cold! It's a One-hit KO! **facepalm**

OHKO moves ignore normal accuracy and evasion mods though. 30% base chance plus 1% per level higher than your opponent (auto-fails if your level is below the opponent) and the only other modifier it cares about are "guaranteed accuracy" moves/abilities (IE: Lock on, No Guard), type effectiveness (IE: Fissure will never work on a flying type unless gravity is in play or they used roost), and... Sheer Cold being weird since it's 20% base if not used by an ice type in addition to ice types being immune to it. Basically, if a level 100 uses a OHKO move on a level 30, it's a guaranteed hit, even if the opponent was given type to max out their evasion and minimize the level 100's accuracy.

Forget Lusamine’s Clefable. Melony’s Eiscue is the most annoying boss mon in any game to date. If you don’t OHKO it, it’s almost guaranteed to set up hail on turn 1 and constantly heal its face, making it basically immune. And you can’t OKHO it as it has its face by default! I don’t do champions cup rematches because of this thing. I invariably get paired with Melony and her Eiscue slowly destroys me.

I think most of us kinda forgot that Meowth got more attention by Game Freak recently, considering how much they promote Charizard. Most of us are sick of Charizard's special treatment, because it is quite unfair to both Blastoise and Venasaur, who are supposed to be given an equal highlight. But nope, double Mega for fanservice, and the only Kanto starter (excluding Eevee and Pikachu) to receive a Gigantamax form. Almost every gen has a Charizard cameo in the anime, while the other two are not as much. Personally I find Gigantamax Charizard looks bad, but hey, that is just me. Not to mention it is Leon's signature Pokemon, who should have a gen 8 ace or an underrated past gen 1 Gigantamax instead of Charizard. I get that Diantha isn't much better with her having a Gardevoir, but it is retyped and Gardevoir isn't as popular as Charizard. To be honest I would prefer if Galarian Meowth isn't a thing and it was redesign to be its own Pokemon, because it can be one.

I think the fact that Dark void was both nerfed to 50% AND made unavailable for use by smeargle is pretty unfair itself. I think make unavailable for smeargle and make accuracy 75% (to make it still a good signature move for Darkrai's sleep based strategies), or make accuracy 50% but keep smeargle's ability to use it would've still been fair.

Delphox actually gets a good ability for competitive uses (not sure why you say "her" since almost every Delphox is male). The starter with a shitty ability is Emboar. Not only is it the worst starter of all time to begin with it also has Thick skin as hidden ability which is completely useless since Fire and Ice are not very effective, to begin with. Game Freak was not even trying with this starter

It's the only type to have 5 weaknesses from the get-go, one of which was always stronger than the others by nature yet still received massive boosts (Fire) and another having been recently buffed to counter another threat (poison). Pure plant types are hardly more viable than pure ice. Hardly any second typing helps in that respect. And Plant is supposed to be a starter type. =/
