Can you do a video on where your eyes should be looking during the delivery?

Henry Peter Gustafson I’ve noticed some guys who don’t drive well/get momentum going will pick up the glove late.

Johnny Wholestaff that's why Brent doesn't like an arm focused approach using lower half/trunk fixes these smaller problems

Henry Peter Gustafson I get that I’m just wondering if keeping eyes on target longer tells the body to drive and be dynamic. Some guys who seem to not have good leg dynamics seem to look straight ahead at the dugout for the first part of the delivery. Could be a good cue for guys who come to a balance point or just don’t use the drive leg well.

That is a great question. All guys are different. Some need to stare down the glove and other need to pick up the glove at the last second and some are in the middle of those. My son would stare at the glove and that is all he would focus on. We found that he and many others need to focus on step by step pitching. Going through the check list as he pitches. If a pitch or something is not working then he makes small changes on his focus first before making huge changes at once.

YouGoPro you're both awesome 👍 Would make a great team
I can tell why this guy rolls his eyes. First of all, I can’t concur with the point that should not bend down the knee. Basically this one gives the momentum as it stretches out just like jumping so it leads to the velocity increase, not a decrease. Look at the Japanese pitchers, Tanaka, Ohtani, and Darvish. They all bend down their knees in the windup. This one is seriously helpful. Furthermore, I don’t think pulling a glove is not helpful. Technically it manipulates the torso movement as it generally increases the velocity. Of course if you pull over too early or hard, this can be rather disturbing while if you use it properly I bet this one is pretty good mean for it
