Completely agree - there's always someone going to nitpick on one negative and ignore all the pros; the main thing is to make a plan and act on it if you are serious about moving. For me 1. There's so much to do here. 2. Travel is great - been to 8 countries in middle east in last year, flights are like £100-200 each time. 3. I work in tech/startups and Islamic finance which is a growing ecosystem here. 4. I can see my mosque from the window which is a 30-second walk, and I live in downtown Dubai. 5. My parents love to visit and it's nice for them to get out the UK. 6. The weather is so nice (in winter at least)

Absolute false advertising. I know kids whose hearts are attached to the masjid and they never left the U.K. the same way I lived in the uae and the mosques close after salah! No activities no halaqaat, nothing! The kids hearts are tied to the malls. This promise of Islamic utopia in the UAE is utter B.S. everyone is looking for a easy fix. There js none, you must do the work wherever you are. You can emigrate to the uae- I did. But don’t expect an Islamic utopia! Infact you’ve got to work a LOT harder in your kids because arabs believe in teaching Islam to their children only when they start their period or their voice breaks. So kids raised in the west who have been wearing hijab since year3 get to Dubai only to find their Muslim friends telling them they don’t have to wear jt. Bruh, don’t get sold a false dream. Leave if you can, if you want, but, DO THE WORK WHEREVER YOU ARE.

All your time you've complained about the "Fitna" in England and then you want people do move to Dubai or UAE and you are so chill about it and painting an entirely different picture about it as if you're being transported back to the Abbassid period in Baghdad.. What about the Abraham accord ? It's the money, quality of life, convenience that has taken you to UAE not really Islam.. Europe and America is where the real battles of the world will be won. Not turning into a silent, passive, non political, jubba- wearing brothers in UAE earning dollars. Oman is much more traditional and conservative than UAE if your genuinely looking for a conducive environment to raise a family but people understand what draws you to UAE.

The Manhaj of Islam is not according to Sunni, Oman is not a go to anyone with the understanding of Islam according to the three generations. so I’m not going to live somewhere we’re my children are taught the incorrect manhaj, which is Ibadi school of Islam. It’s hard to find fitna in UAE, only if you mingle with the places the non Muslims are occupying. Have you even been in Dubai? Kuwait, Qatar, Egypt but remember UAE has more to offer business wise and religious, if not Saudi Arabia then not a bad pick. Lgbtq is a greater fitna than whatever you can find in Dubai, seriously

@illusionoftruth7091

If you're willing to travel abroad, he could try to apply to an Islamic University in Saudi (if he's a revert there's an increased chance of him getting accepted) and if he gets accepted and flies over there, he could fly you out to him. From my knowledge, the uni with the least age restrictions is Umm al Qura which is in Makkah (about 20 minutes away from Masjid al Haram) and they have a campus for both men and women (so both of you could apply to study at the university there). Keep in mind that the Islamic University of Madinah has the most restrictions when it comes to bringing the wife over (if you start from scratch in the Arabic program, you'd have to wait a minimum of 3 years for the uni to allow him to fly you over and he'd also have to give the uni a deposit of around 30,000 riyal [which they'd eventually give you back]. There's no woman campus. There are ways around this though, and there are classes/institutions for women to learn over there that are separate to the university, but know that the university in Madinah is the strictest when it comes to bringing the wife over). The degrees tend to last for about 6 years (2 years to learn Arabic, 4 years for the actual Islamic studies). Pretty much everything would be paid for by the uni except for your maintenance (shopping, bills, rent etc..), your flight and maybe a few other things. The uni pays for pretty much everything else, so he would have to find a way to earn money on the side to provide for you. Some students have a remote job that they do in their free time, others offer services like translation services/consultation services about Islamic universities etc.. If you BOTH apply to Umm al Qura and BOTH get accepted, then the burden would be lightened because the uni would pay each of you roughly 840 riyals a month. I'm not sure how accommodation would work though, you'd have to research this - I'm not sure if they'd give you a shared room for free or if you'd have to rent a shared room off campus. On the bare minimum though, they'd give you a dorm room that you may need to share with others for free (so you wouldn't be with your husband in this case). If you both apply to a university and get accepted, you'd both be students at the university. If only he applies to a university/if only he gets accepted into one, he could study full time at the uni and he could fly you over and you could study in the institutions/classes that they have for women in places around the university. If he does decide to do this, he needs to make sure to properly take care of you, take you out when you need to etc... (you shouldn't be stuck between 4 walls for 6 years straight). Some students who brought their wives to the Islamic universities neglected them and didn't treat them properly and ended up getting divorced. Yes you're there to seek knowledge but you also need to maintain and take care of your wife. Be strict with your time and make sure your family takes priority over your friends - take her out to places, perhaps revise things together, go for walks at night, don't be wasting too much time with friends at the coffee shop and just "hanging out" with them until midnight etc... This part is something that some of the students at these universities may not take into consideration.

I don't think there is anything like that what you mentioned about faeces. It needs to be washed like other impure or dirty things. If a dog licks your body or cloth, your wuzu is still valid and again simple wash. Why not move to the place of your origin? Can you bury your deads in Dubai or can you get citizenship in Dubai? Dating culture, clubbing, drinking, horrible horrible things all happen and are legal there. Wouldn't want to raise my family there. On top of that people from the subcontinent are treated like second class citizens even if they are Muslim. Even if you are a top Medical specialist. They don't give you any citizenship, and there is always someone way richer than you so living standards are not exactly what people think they are. After you finish your job, they tell you to go bye bye. In America, if you have money, you can buy land and live wealthy. You don't need to be an Arab or be a part of a certain family.

Nowadays, deen and islam are in your heart, and allah guides who he does, and allah misguide who he does. Yes, the Muslim country helps and, of course, hearing the azan ❤. That being said, it's your responsibility to watch your children and have a good upbringing. If you wanna have children, then take on that responsibility. You will be shocked at the stories you hear, even in Muslim countries. I remember hearing this story on the muslim KZbin channel, how the parents decided to home school their child (for Islamic reasons), the child turned out to be trans. (May allah forbid that to happen to anyone), but just goes to show that your not safe even in your own home, its not about moving because how many times are you gonna keep moving, no mater where you move you have access to the Internet and no one is safe (unless you move to remote area no Internet access/ social media ), its about dealing with it and addressing the issue, being active in your children life. Teaching them about deen, responsibility, and maners not just handing then out the ipad so they dont bother you. Families are even more broken nowadays where both parents are working (if bills are high ) or career women, and the kids are left to learn from the Internet or other people because the mum is busy at work (building a career)

Utter nonsense and irresponsible drivel. The ridiculous basicness of this video genuinely made me laugh. The average person cannot just pack their bags and move. The UAE is unaffordable for most, and far far away from the Islamic utopia narrative which was ripe in the late 2000's and eventually died down. If you can afford it, and want that 'lavish' Instagram lifestyle then hey, do what you want, but please don't promote it as something that should be done for Islamic reasons. If you feel moving to the UAE is going to fill a void in your Deen or miraculously make you a better Muslim, then quite frankly, you have bigger things to worry about. Who is this even directed at? A person so wealthy he doesn't need to work and can afford the lifestyle that comes with it in UAE or the average person (majority) who has a 9-5 job? ALL the points mentioned on why you should move are naively/intentionally misleading at best, or completely untrue at worst. Easier to go to Umrah? Yes, but the issue for most isn't cost or a marginal reduction in travel time, it's the number of days off they have in the calendar year. FYI - There's a trivial saving on the flights, you still have to pay for hotels there. People should know there is limited access to knowledge in UAE. You have to go there to believe just how inaccessible it is. Where are the study circles? Non-existent. If there are, who is leading them? No one knows. Raising kids - Children are a parents responsibility to raise, and they learn from you and the household. The west has it's problems, but there is a well known poor standard of teaching in UAE, including high cost of education. Especially when kids are of secondary school age, which due to unaffordability and poor schools, most expats move back! As mentioned by others in the comments, you see much more Islam in the UK than the UAE. It's ultimately lazy parenting which results in children not being raised in the right manner. Going to UAE won't miraculously cure this, and it's exactly the type of oxymoronic solution lazy parenting suggests you should do. Besides, you can't actually do much with your kids in the UAE except go to the mall, which of course, may be an appealing lifestyle for some. A big big problem is that mosques do not have an open door policy and they're not community based masajid like they have in the UK. Far far disconnected from the whole intention of having a masjid to cater for the needs of the community, because guess what, there is no community in the UAE! Other points are so ridiculous (clean streets/wrestling etc) they're not worth addressing.
