NHTSA had come out with new Crash Tests in early 2023 and the new 2023 Camry failed those tests as most all others failed. Initially the 2023 Camry was 5 Stars, after the new tests it was rated under 2 Stars. That means practically every vehicle produced in the last 10 years from all the auto manufacturers failed. Yes! All 2024 vehicles are still in the Fail Zone. It is time for all auto manufacturers to BEEF up their vehicles to survive the Crash Test and reduce the number of Airbags. Well, more airbags does not make the vehicle more safer, if that was the situation we will turn the vehicle into an Air Balloon and fly.

Got my 2023 XSE V6 fully loaded for 37k.

nice, most people cannot beat $37K when a Camry XSE fully loaded is typically near $41K. I got mine at dealer invoice of $34,410. Then I also got my $500 Military Discount making it $33,910. I called around for a Toyota VSA quote as paid $1,545 for 10-year/125K with $0 deductible. To get the $500 Military, financed for APR 3.49%@48 months and made 1 month payment and then Paid it Off ASAP. TFS appeared to be a bit upset for giving me the Military Discount because they made no money from Interest Rate. Anyways, the dealership made $500 but after they had paid off their employees for PDI, cleaning, sales guy, finance manager and the paperwork, they really got nothing. It was like the best deal ever. Oh! I don't ever do Trade-In as that is like going to the Pawn Shop giving your stuff away and getting 20 to 30 percent of what it is worth. If Toyota goes Direct Online Sales, bye bye Toyota Dealerships. Sounds good no more middle guy but Toyota will be marking up its new cars. For example MSRP of $40K when dealership was around and the Dealer Invoice of $34K. the whole sale direct cost might be $39K. We might be getting it for 1K less but Toyota is now making $5K more in profit. It sure would be great to get a car at the price the dealer was paying for it but guess not no more.

Got the SE from my work. Not many upgrades but decent as its free. Decent engine. Good handling. Somewhat comfortable. Downside:, Not as much back seat legroom as you would expect. The Q shape dashboard is not as functional. Dim inside, poor interior lighting. 7 inch infotainment. Sits lower than I thought. Overall a good car, better that it's free. Illl take it.

TRD Camry is garbo with its bolt-on body parts available as accessory body parts for all Camry trims. The TRD lacks many amenities and sets above the LE trim but with a V6 engine and bolt-on body parts. Get the XLE V6 or the best of all trims is the XSE V6. For the simple budget person who can't afford much get the Camry SE, next best is the Camry XSE AWD, and the best of all Camry trims is the Camry XSE V6 fully loaded. Camry trims to skip and avoid are the bottom of the barrel LE, then TRD, and the XLE. Avoid all Hybrid models. Note: The year 2024 is going to be a bad year for Toyota. Do not purchase any 2025 Toyota or 2025 Lexus model vehicles.
