I was going to say that the dude(Phil, I think?)who, tripped his "friend" on purpose, was a cruel asshole, because he had already passed him by, but it seemed like he was trying to get his "friend" killed. Most ppl would be happy enough to be faster, but they'd also be too petrified to be trying to trip somebody else, unless, they was trying to catch up. Now see, that's why I feel like having friends is overrated. 😂

My mom and niece have told me stories of the duende, a mischievous knome aka troll that I’ve personally never seen before. My mother would tell me that my grandmother (who past away before I was born) would see these things in rural Mexico where my mother grew up until she was in her teens. As for my niece, she told me that her father would play outside as a kid & chase some small figure around the house for hours and his parents ruled it out as him playing with a make believe friend until they heard it for themselves giggling and running along their brick wall in their backyard. They described it as a small looking shriveled face looking dwarf with a dirty white beard that seemed like it wanted attention.

duendes are real! they are tiny things, but from where my grandmother is from in Mexico, the town is so frightened by them that they set up a park of some sort for them, so that they do not bother people. they leave them food and provide toys at this troll park, almost like a peace offering.

Duendes don't just hang out in Mexican homes. THere are actually multiple similar beings in European ,African , and south American folklore, they simply have different names but they are definitely the same mischievous and territorial beings. Mexicans and Fillipino just happen to call them by that name.

Here is why I’m less scared of bears than humans because I know that humans have ranged weapons, and bears are easily kept back by a long stick or by just acting dead, they are fairly unintelligent compared to humans, humans on the other hand aren’t as trick able and actually have an aggressive behavior much more immoral than some animals, if it’s a cryptids have interesting weaknesses, but usually I have access to it at the nearby gas station, not to mention that there are some easy explosives to make, also with trolls or goblins I know they like your left socks and hate the word hiccup.

Big foot has red eye shine. I don't believe in gnomes but there is a rat that lives in my house that walks on his hind legs.
@treisenadams90366 жыл бұрын
Eyeshine in an animal is not constant. The same animal can have green, red, yellow, or orange eyeshine, depending on several factors. Angle of light compared to the eye, color of light, amount of ambient light, and current amount of pupil dialation.

Kinda like Mothy. Hard to tell... I can't imagine why praying would work on him though. I've run across Mothy before. This encounter just feels odd...
@treisenadams90366 жыл бұрын
You know, a large majority of "Mothman" stories sounds identical to accounts of the "Owlman". The only difference are the ones that explicitly described the creature as having arms separate from the wings, and/or certain behavioral aspects of the encounter. Owlman is said to frequent church bell towers and forests that have churches near or at the edge of them. So it might be affected by prayer. If for arguments sake you assume both exist, most "Mothman" sightings are just misidentified "Owlman" sightings.

Duende, Du-en-dae. They are mischievous tho mostly bad. They move things in your house and can bring you good or bad luck depending on if you respect them. Most people fear them. All you have to do to get on their good side is to give them offerings. They like sweets/candy, bread, toy balls and alchohol, well food in general. I heard this from Dad and Grandpa, they are from an old fashioned rural town in Mexico.
@nickirito34354 жыл бұрын
Yeah! Duende. I live in central america and my friend told me he saw one. Then I saw the evidence. It moved his flute, when he put it down. And he looked and looked for it. I was watching the whole thing I saw a quick flash. Go under the boards of the floor. Where I was sitting I could see there was a space under from the porch. I put some candy he had a little ways under and saw a quick flash but the paper of the wrapper moved!!,so I pulled my precious candy out of my purse and put it there, and said to it was an offering if he gave the flute back. Duende! He grabbed some candy, ran away from my side of the porch, and, my friend looked where he" had ran and found the flute!, the little du put the flute under the other side of the porch! Evidence. And I haven't heard anyone talk about them since then ,till you now. How did you know they like candy! I just had the feeling to offer him a sweet! Happened over a year ago

He/She heard a noise. Ran to the kitchen and grabbed a cleaver. Ran down the hall and stabbed the entity and twisted the cleaver. Hmmm. Not saying it didn't happen just as they said it did, but really? With a cleaver?
@TheTrollbert6 жыл бұрын
Jamie Tyree true lol unless they hacked at it and then twisted? Hmm
@swampdweller6 жыл бұрын
Not all cleavers are square and bulky. most cleavers actually have curved points at the top specifically for the purpose of stabbing and tearing.
@jamietyree49946 жыл бұрын
I'll be honest Swamp, I have never seen a pointed cleaver. Most cleavers I have seen are any where from 4 to 8 inches from edge of blade to the spine of the cleaver. That's what I have a hard time wrapping my mind around lol. I'm 6'1" and 270 lbs and I don't think I would even be able to twist a cleaver once I stabbed someone/something with it.
@swampdweller6 жыл бұрын
Google cleaver knives, you'll see many different types of cleavers. The purpose of the knife is for butchering, it shouldn't be that unfathomable that a knife used for butchering and separating meat from bone would be a useful tool for stabbing something. I'm not saying the person in the story 100% did stab and twist. I'm just saying cleavers are very easily able to do that and it's really not out of this world to think someone could and would use it in that way. Here are a few reference links to help you better understand; www.aliexpress.com/item/Kitchen-knives-simitar-w301-multi-purpose-cut-cutter-pork-knife/32554719944.html www.touchofmodern.com/sales/vky-knives-6e54cb15-47d2-493d-b508-78e812696c98/cleaver-knife-vk0224 www.chefknivestogo.com/cckcleaver.html www.chefknivestogo.com/moritaka4.html
@jamietyree49946 жыл бұрын
Swamp Dweller I know there are several varieties of cleavers Swamp, I don't need links. I never said it was unfathomable for some one to stab someone/something with a cleaver.
