I have always had a strong desire to decorate a lovely home with beautiful things I have accumulated over many years but never had a home to display & enjoy them. As a divorced Mother I worked 2 & 3 jobs to support my boys and never had time for me. I always enjoyed going to thrift stores, estate sales & yard sales and stored a lot of my beautiful things. Now I am retired & have a beautiful home and have time to focus on my life. It has been hard to have a vision but you have helped me so much giving me ideas about how to display & enjoy my beautiful things God has blessed me with. Working out at the gym twice a week has made such a difference in my body shape, especially once I started working with weights. My arms are so toned and my waistline has reappeared. Helps my mental health too. I don't diet per se but did cut out sugars in my diet. I hate the word diet. What would I tell my 16 year old self? Don't get married until you are in your 30s! Travel, live life. (Actually I would probably tell myself not to get married at all!)

I would stress saving money, "to thine known self be true" and taking a few psychology courses. I wish I had known about personality disorders at an earlier age. I had a catering company too. My best friend and I, young mothers looking for away to make some money that wouldn’t get in the way of our motherhood too much. A lot of hard work, but so satisfying. Did it for years and yes, it was good money!

If you don't like throw some coffee...how about chuck some coffee LOL ;-) The pink dress is beautiful. I think the color pink looks good on us & brightens our skin & uplifts our mood. Your voice, songs and music are so beautiful ❤ I could listen to you play and sing all day. * I have a little tip that might help you not stew (like I used to) when someone says something mean or unkind. I realized that while they did their damage and went on about their day without giving it a second thought, it was ruining my day and mood. I thought 'why in the world am I giving someone that much power' and decided to find a way to change it. From then on, I smile at them and say 'I'm sorry you're having a bad day. I hope it gets better' then I walk away. I instantly feel better & most of the time they're left standing there stunned. They did not get what they wanted out of it. Life is too short to let someone with a miserable disposition, ruin our day or steal any time away from us. * I hope you and Desi have a happy and blessed weekend. Everyone’s skin is so different. I use two Rodan & Fields products - eye cream & night cream. I live inScottsdale, AZ & my skin is dry & sensitive. These creams are a bit pricey but they work wonders for me & are the first age creams I am not allergic to. I try other things occasionally just to see if something else would work - but always end up going back. 🌵😎💕

Love that darling jazzy club in the beginning....my favorite kind of place....I'm a baby boomer who probably should have lived in the 30s and 40s... The music .....Stardust and Gershwin and soft jazz moves me. You look great Susan...I'm 10 pounds down too...IF works good for me too, my metabolism is a nightmare so I have to walk and ride my son's stationary bike and that thing is a beast....I love that bike....my find for the year and I heard you mention dancing....my most favorite thing in the world, I find myself dancing around the house too...lol...hugs, Sweetie...🤗. i try I F and it’s too hard. I love breakfast early . Did you know that breakfast really is Break Fast. I loss 60 lbs in 2011 on Ww and i feel that worked the best for me. I use the app itrackbites which is every single weight watchers program so people don’t need to spend a million dollars on the Ww. I got off the Ww program and tried IM fasting and started aging. So back to itrackbites and counting points. In fact i would over eat when i did IF. I definitely had more control weighing my portions. Looking at portion sizes. Glad it works for you. i am 63.

Piano? Yeah. When I was much younger I wanted to take piano lessons. So my parents got an old upright piano, not knowing if I would stick with it or not. Well, I did. I had two teachers. One was mostly to teach me those horrible scales and methods and the other was a chiropractor who taught the fun part of style and rhythm which I loved. My dad used to love for me to play for him when he came home from work. But I only loved playing when I was alone, thinking I would wasn't good enough to play for others. And those recitals. Oh, how I hated those. Anyway, true to their word my parents did get me a small baby grand piano and I continued my lessons. My last recital I played Deep Purple and got so many compliments. I couldn't believe it. So the following year I was supposed to do Rhapsody in Blue. But I lost confidence and practiced less and less. I will never forget how disappointed my dad was. How disappointed I was for letting him down. Letting myself down. What was wrong with me. As I look back i so wish I hadn't given up on my dreams and had kept going. Remembering the day the beautiful piano was moved out. My heart was broken because I let my dad down. And myself. Now when I hear something so beautiful as Moonlight Sonata I wish I could sit down and just play the simple melody everyone knows. So anyone reading this. Never give up on your dreams. You are good enough. Don't tell yourself you can't do something and don't let anyone discourage you. I have regretted this my entire life.

Wow, Susan, you are truly amazing & talented!! I just love that song. Playing the organ was my love when I was 14 . How I wish I would of stayed with it but I let my boyfriend (at that time) tell me i had no ear for playing!! I was very insecure then & still are. Think I would of outgrow it by now :(
