I think you should add a vet visit to the spraying/litter box aversion one. My cat recently developed litterbox aversion. At first we thought we'd freaked her out by building some furniture - she's an anxious rescue cat. But when she didn't go back to using it as the weekend progressed, I decided she needed a vet visit, and I'm glad I did, because it turned out she had developed hyperthyroidism. Which, for the record, can also cause some of these other behaviors in here, because it causes anxiety. And hyperthyroidism is not something you can fix by cuddling your cat more often. So I'm glad on some of the later signs you also mentioned a vet visit. I think that's often a good idea if a cat suddenly starts behaving differently. (She just got back from her radioiodine treatment, and I'm not allowed to let her sit with/on me for 7 days, so I guess I'll be seeing many of these 10 signs over the coming week. The yowling and scratching at the carpet have already kicked in...)

My cat was overgrooming due to an ear infection caused by ear mites. The parasite was treated but it took a very long time and vet trips to treat the ear infection. 😢

That sounds really tough! 😢 Glad to hear your cat got treated, but I know how stressful those vet trips can be. 🐾❤️

My cat will paw at me ONLY when I’m grabbing him food. As it to say- you aren’t moving fast enough 🤣

Feral cats live perfectly happily in the wild without needing the so-called love of human beings. They play the role of taking care of people and reporting to the Masters above through their eyes onto their screens up there. They are our Watchers.

I'm writing here in hopes for an answer... my 6 yr old female orange tabby is showing signs of stress, just yesterday she started grooming and leaving this thick white/clear non odorous mucus on her fur. It has happened at least a dozen times in the past 24 hours... I am not sure if this is normal or if there could be something medically wrong.... please advise!

That doesn’t sound normal probably better to take her to the vet then trying to get answers on KZbin. As they said better to be safe than sorry so just take her to see a vet to see what going on with her

this is not "too much". Cats are notoriously difficult to read, and I'll take all the help I can get!
