Simant was a hell of a lot of fun, though I’ve never taken the house over, only defeated the red ants. There was a fun option to make the ants say goofy stuff as they went about their day and such, just a lot of pure joy in this game sometimes despite its bizarre premise

I used to play it a lot as a kid. Honestly was a lot more fun than one would think. ( Admittedly, I played it less than some specific games like Shining Force 1&2, Masters of Monsters, Street Fighter, MK, and other fighting games.. But I still played it a fair amount. )

Had SimAnt as a young school boy and played the crap out of it, and also studied quite a bit about ants as a result of my fascination with the game. Favorite out-there sim is probably Soda Drinker Pro, but you’ve pulled some gems out that I haven’t even heard of so bravo 😆

It doesn't have "simulator" in the name, but I'd nominate Mr. Mosquito here. It's a PS2 game which does exactly what you're thinking. You fly a mosquito around, attempting to land on people and suck them dry, while avoiding obstacles like fans and flypaper. There's even a bit of a story, as the family you're terrorizing slowly goes insane as the bites add up.

I really really wish there could be a sequel or even a reboot to Viscera Cleanup Detail. I always really liked the balance between the fiddly cleaning mechanics and the wacky concepts.

Airplane Simulator is basically Desert Bus only it takes place on a plane instead of a bus oh and you can get up from your seat without crashing the plane

I had a lot of fun with Simant back in the day. If you got a decent amount of ant pals to join you, you could kill the spider. Also I remember a secret mode that let you control the spider for some predatory fun. 🕷

Sim games are definitely big now. I mean there can be a sim of anything basically. Even things that are horribly offensive. On steam theres these guys called Glob Games Studio with a few random sims that have been TBA for years with no updates, yet somehow steam keeps them there, 1 is a School Principal simulator, another is a Party Crasher Simulator, which actually looks cool, like House Party vibes.

last 2 flights I took didn't have a video, I flew roughly 4 hours. It wanted me to buy wifi access, when too many people used the wifi, it wouldn't work....what plane still has videos? let alone meals...i got a bischoff cookie and it was gross but the sweet waffle thing was ok. What happened to peanuts? Not even the Train had meals, unless you paid for business class or a Sleeper car. So apparently the majority of the train passengers don't deserve real food, but they can buy microwave pizza and a burger whose cheese melts off the whole thing. I feel like this is something they can be sued over for discrimination
