I only discovered your channel recently and I love it! I'm binging on your videos. Im Australian too. You're so stylish and classy and so sweet yet smart. I'm in my 30's now and feel like I need a more grown up look. I still dress like in my 20's with ripped black jeans or black mini skirt with a band T. Your style videos are very helpful. Can you do a video on how to look polished? Like those women at cosmetic counters and corporate business women. I really want to look like that kind of woman! 😭

Great video. I have almost every item you mentioned maybe not the same brand but the same idea. The other thing I have been loving lately for quick days is a moisturizing tinted lip balm. I really love the Bobbi Brown ones. They give a bit of color or top a lip liner very nicely for a stronger look. I keep one in my mini pouch at all times along with a sample or travel lip liner. I also keep blotting papers because I am so oily. I find with these few items I can touch up my face any time and feel refreshed. Love your channel!

Great tips as usual. Thanks for sharing! The glass travel mug looks amazing. I previously mentioned corn starch with a bit of cocoa powder for dark hair types. I've always been happy with it. Use is sparingly though - it really works :)

I think the talcum powder was linked to cancers when used in the private areas which was a common practice years ago
@stylefoodwithlaila49145 жыл бұрын
I think so too. I still use talc , the rose kind, from some british brand. It keeps me rosy all day and I get many compliments when I pair with my MFK ala rose or LV Rose parfume.

I recently discovered your channel and have been enjoying your topics. Good presentation style! I recently discovered a product instead of dry shampoo. My niece gifted it to me for Christmas. Kevin Murphy powder puff. I sprinkle in at the root like talcum powder. But as you massage through the roots, it seems to turn into a silicone product.

Hi Isabelle! Thank you so much for another great video. As someone who comes from a science backgound as well, just wanted to say an extra thanks for putting out there that it's good to be sceptical of any claims (ie. talc powder and ovarian cancer), as we often see people rushing so quickly to judgement. :)

Great tips. I am not a professional, however, I have also heard that about "talcum powder". That is what you called it but you were showing "baby powder". I believe that in Canada that baby powder does not contain talcum powder. I suppose you can check it out. Loved all your tips again. Great video.

New here l just adore you love listening to you speak 😁 l have heard about the powder causing cancer but the fact its ovarian specifically... because women have been using in our private area's.. 😬 then it would leach into the body due to placement. I would think that it would b safe as a dry shampoo substitute though just a thought l really enjoy your approach on staying beautiful without all the extra nonsense. Thank you so much love! Look forward for the next one.

Aw thank you so much for your info and for your lovely feedback babe! I also read that it is where you apply it! But since I've been loving my "dark hair" Klorane dry shampoo, I've been just using it. Thanks again and have an amazing day hun xx

So Good you shouldn't use baby powder anywhere on your body. It can be absorbed through your skin anywhere on your body. Try cornstarch.

Thank you xx great useful and relevant content. The benefit tint I already have and yes it's a great product 😊 ... but... I just learnt about the BB cream having tint and SPF + the L'occitane shower oil !!!🤩🤩🤩 I I have really super dry skin & have to lather up different layers of oils and creams every morning, so am really looking forward to trying this product. You're right about the time it takes to moisturize your body everyday and now it has become lifelong habit, but if it saves time I'm in for it 🤩🤩🤩

As for talcum powder I used to use it in summer for my thigh area, and was shocked when my gynaecologist told me to ABSOLUTELY stay away from it for the risk of ovarian cancer. I presume its application onto the lower body was referred to but the doctor's comment put me off using it alltogether. Cheers from Poland!

Oh Isabelle I 😍❤😍 perfumes... and have been looking for my signature scent for years. At one point I had nailed it down to Fendi's Fan Di.... then Thierry Muglers Womanity but they both discontinued after a few years🙄 Tom Fords Tobacco Vanille is a game for over a decade but not something I want to wear everyday due to 💲💰💸💳 Still trying to find a 'signature' scent... that's me. 🤔 PS: the keep up - another great suggestion. Just looked it up and it's glad on the inside and plastic on outside which is why it sounds like plastic.

Thank you Isabelle for this video! These are great tips!! I want to try the BB cream! I haven't worn foundation for years because I thought it made my skin look dry and that I actually looked older with it! Do you still put a separate moisturizer on your face before the BB cream?
@AigerimY135 жыл бұрын
I don't, but it's because I have oily skin. I do my skin-care routine at night, and in the morning I just wash my face with lukewarm water and apply BB or CC cream. In summer, I use sunscreen before CC, because I get easily tanned with even SPF 30

My mother died from ovarian cancer. Her doctor said it was most likely caused by her use of baby powder.
@samanthabarron84815 жыл бұрын
Nofretari I'm so sorry about your mother! If I'm not mistaken this is from using baby powder on "feminine parts"... an I correct? I know some older generations used this to reduce moisture in certain areas, and it would make sense for a foreign substance to cause problems down there 😕
