When you practice too much Wrestling/BJJ, you can get this type of bruising (known as cauliflower ear). It happens due to the atriction between your ears, that can fold and hurt, and the opponents body. It is also a funny aspect of the game: when you are a striker with no grappling experience and the guy you are facing has this type of ears, you know you are in big trouble!

Cauliflower ear. It's really common for wrestlers and BBJ players. It's pretty much a hematoma in the ear. That is caused when the ears take a lot of blunt force trauma.
