@@mn00004 Make your typing speed and accuracy better. I had to struggle in my writing section as I didn't take this seriously. If you don't practice well enough, you will find yourself correcting the spellings again and again which happened to me in the writing section; and it kills your time a lot. Reading part is actually better in computer delivered format. For listening section, you need to practice listening and typing at the same time. It might be a little tricky sometimes specially if you don't get used to it but it's not that hard either.

Hi E2IELTS, today I received my results of the computer delivered IELTS. Thank God! I got L-8, W,S,R-7 and it’s exactly the result I wanted. Thank you so much for all the tips. Especially I should say the mock tests help immensely. They take away most of the fear we have inside us and make us comfortable for the real exam. The mock tests of yours are really just like the same as the real test. Thank you again and again. I had the exam in Macquarie University, Sydney. I should say that the speaking test was really shorter than it earlier was. If anyone is attempting the exam there, please bear that in mind. Another thing I want to say is do a lot of practice for listening and reading and that’ll take you there where you want to be in. I have Cambridge books from 1-10. I could give them to anyone who wants. They give you a lot of practice. I wish all those who are out there practicing for the exam to achieve their targets without hassle. God bless you all.

It’s very hard and sometime even few keys were getting stuck while typing the answers especially you will face this issue in listening and writing essay. I had given both type of IELTS test in IDP that is computer and paper based. So, I know now which one is better.

I have a question about the computer-delivered listening test. Is there a deduction in marks if the format is different eg. 6 - 8 pm and 6pm - 8pm?

Do we can use keyboard function CTRL+F to find certain vocab on reading the screen on reading section?
@uninstalledsoftwares62663 жыл бұрын
1. You get pen and paper 2. There is a suite of onscreen tools: change color change text size use a highlighter 3. can move between sections (but not reading and writing) 4. no need to count words 5. there is a timer on screen 6. you don't get extra minutes 7. Don't write in capital letters 8. you get headphones 9. no bathroom breaks 10. speaking test is not on computer

Hi jay! I love your videos, I’m taking the IELTS on October 23rd , I saw you mentioned no cap letters for writing, but what about reading and listening? Could we use cap letters to avoid thinking about punctuation on days countries names etc ? Thanks for your help

What should we answer in the below scenario? 2 word answer, and the listening audio says 7th of August. What should we write here: 7th August, August 7th, 7 August or August 7?

I only have one more doubt...in the computer test, are candidates provided also with the question physical paper? For example for the reading, do they give us also the paper or we can only read the text on the computer?

Thanks for the videos. In the General Training Reading, I want to confirm if we can move around between any of the 5 passages ! You said its possible and the example you gave are for listening and writing but within reading (5 passages) can we still do that in CBT?

I love to appear in IELTS again, but I think, my personal suggestion, to give at least 60-100 seconds to recheck all answers like paper-based there are 5 min after each section, to check answers again.
