My all time favorite is: *Understand the value of your time.* How I look at things is actually in minutes and not in dollars, because while a t-shirt can cost me 10 dollars in the shop on my corner, and only 8 dollars in the mall, it will take me over one hour to actually drive to the mall and then drive back, so I prefer to pay 2 dollars more instead of losing 1 hour of my time because I know that my time is worth way more than 2 dollars an hour. So, for me this shirt costs either 10 dollars or 8 dollars and 60 minutes which is more than 10 dollars for me. There are so many people out there that would drive from one shop to another just to get their products for a lower price, whether that’s groceries, clothes, shoes or whatever, they don’t seem to understand that their time is way more valuable than the extra 5 cents their paying on their groceries.

it took me ages to understand that!!. but this is also requires that you tie a certain dollar value to the work you produce over specific time periods. Love your acronym bro (or sister)!!!

I was actually watching this video this morning when a customer walked into my office (everyone is a customer regardless of what they come in for), and I used number 2 on her; I asked "is this a 5 minute meeting or a 15 minute meeting?" and it worked! Thanks Pat!

The purpose of the meeting item is so true. I've been in alot of meetings with ineffective managers who allow time to be wasted, then you look up and the meeting is over and nothing was accomplished. I plan to share this one with my leadership, keep the great content coming!!!

as a young person (engr not a mgr) i learned quickly to print an agenda and distribute it before the meeting. this focuses everyone on bringing solutions for only the tasks at hand, saving time (not starting from scratch at the meeting) and also avoiding the free-for-all and time wasting diatribes in the wrong direction. it also sets what we expect to accomplish in the time allotted (all of it). Patrick is my Hero.

Great point about meeting attendance - always ask if you're needed! It's a great way to save valuable time and you can still get all of the info from the meeting later.

So sooooo brilliant. Had this happen last week. What could’ve been a productive 20 minute conversation turned into a 40 minute head-scratching conversation that could’ve been dealt with during commute and through voice messages. Ughhhh. Gonna try this again tonight. Going to write everything down. You’re the man, Pat!

I think I will implement number 2. A friend recently wanted to come to and I knew it would eat into my time given that what they wanted I knew it would be used next year April. I just told them let's talk in January. Respectfully. No wasting time. I think I will implement the responsibility for projects. Congratulations on the book!! Waiting!

Very well said. A lot of times people that I talk to drag the conversation and don't get to the point. Sometimes I'm busy in other areas that when I tell them I'll call you at a certain time they never answer, I guess it wasn't that important.

Great facts spoken this episode like always. But I personally liked the old video style better. For me it had a more personal and less commercial feeling to it. Now with the flashy sound effects deviding the different subjects and the new background with the matching suit it feels more staged to me and like the focus has became more mainstream. But that’s just my personal opinion. And on the other hand I also think that people that really have a listening ear will still pick up the wise learnings. After all goals are goals,1M subs let’s go.

Anyways, i just launched my online business called HannasOnline.com and i just started selling some toys, car accessories etc. My question is how do i get that attraction to my website for me to grow it into a huge online website that can generate enough wealth? Which rout should i take first to boost its sales?
