I like the way you pick the fish up by the tail instead of the "face"...thank you for sharing.

Caught a pile of nice walleyes this fall doing this but with #9 jigging raps. So much fun. Going to be buying a dozen flat jigs when I can find em. Awesome video, dig the fishing shoes too.

Well done lad. I’m retired, a bass fisherman and REALLY want to learn the finer points of walleye fishing. Please do a video???

What brand and model is that vertical utility box at 11:38 edit: nvm, I see it's in the description

Thanks for tuning in Nytron. That's a sweet tackle management system for horizontal jigs -- def got our attention too.

I wonder why don't use casting BFS if you throw like 10 yards anyway?

In this video at the end he kept referring that he likes to throw the bigger size? Does he mean heavier or longer? What exactly, if you can, list the size.
@Wired2Fish4 жыл бұрын
So the Flat jig goes up to a size #6 and the jigging rap goes up to a size #9. He’s saying he uses the biggest size of each bait.

Wired2Fish Thank you for your prompt reply. Your answer was helpful. It’s number six for me! Or number nine! Watch my KZbin channel TD Mayday, some good stuff on there. Thanks again… TD Mayday

Hey what’s the best bait before warm fall weather in the north east?

Where is his structure scan ducer located. The way he talks it seems like its on the trolling motor.
@xCruZChaos3 жыл бұрын
I was confused about that too, but it's definitely not at his bow mount trolling motor. Its at the transom and he just runs it to his bow screen. You can actually see about half way through the video, he must see some fish on his transom mount structure scan or something, because the boat is suddenly turned around going with the wind instead of against it, so I'm guessing he turned the boat around to pursue other fish he saw. I think his idea is that once he has located fish and then starts trolling back through them, he will eventually see them on his structure scan at his transom. Once he sees them on there, then he knows he has gone past the pod of fish, so at that point he probably just turns the boat around and goes over them again. Rinse and repeat.

A cheater 😂 Graphs can't catch the fish for you, especially with Walleye. "Must be so so fun to catch less fish all day"
@blakeg41664 жыл бұрын
@@mattduprau2028 pretty easy to catch fish when u know exactly where they are dippy. Have u ever seen a fishes brain? Probably not because you clearly don't have one of your own.

Lol you're probably the guy that copies everyone else by just fishing where all the boats are. With your logic, fluoro is cheating too. Having a boat is cheating too, why not just fish from shore?
