PS2 was and still is a fantastic system with the biggest and arguably the best library ever. Sly Cooper series is so good! Love the art style as well. Although I don’t have any of the Fatal Frame games for the PS2 I know they are great games. God of War is always in the conversation lol. So many iconic games and series on the system. Great video brother! Can’t wait to see the other PS2 themed videos this month!

Happy PS2 month!! Some standout series for me would definitely be Fatal Grame (Even though technically I haven't played them, but I watched Scott and I will eventually get around to it) Then of course DMC and God of War which I have played. I've only played the first DMC but I freaking loved it and I made it through God of War 1-3 but I really need to get on to playing the rest.

First off, Congrats on 8K! That’s awesome! Honored to be a part of that 🙏 Dated a bit by todays standard, Fatal Frame got under my skin in a good way upon its release! My best friend Luisa’s brother Edgar bought it and we spent all weekend checking it out. Great memories! Jak and Daxter is probably my favorite Naughty Dog series if not my favorite Sony exclusive series next to Tomba of course 😏 Some absolutely phenomenal franchises here Jay! No one can deny how amazing the PS2 truly was / still is! Stay awesome brother! 🤘

You and I have different tastes for sure. But that is GOOD! Some of those games I could never get into, like Monster Hunter. I tried and tried with many releases and it always felt like I was on a Snipe Hunt. Oh, I’d walk around forever then finally see a monster that basically commits suicide. 😂 I tried many entries and the result was always the same: me yawning then getting a glass of milk and going to bed. 🤷‍♀️ My buddy, Richie was all about it too… he kept telling me “You’re playing it wrong.” I said, “Five games I’ve tried… I think I got it right.” Different strokes. 😂 But, there’s games here that YES! I love too! That’s immaterial though as this was a fun video regardless of individual tastes. Gimmie more Katamari. I had a quest a couple years ago… I found a loose Katamari Damacy disc. The quest: reunite it with authentic manual, art, and case. I did that and all is right in the world. They’re all spanking brand new looking too. I do have two other games I’m trying that with. Yakuza was the ps2s best hidden secret that i got to discover later with yakuza zero on ps4 and i now have almost all of them with the 1st 2 remakes but also the originals

Man the PS2 has shaped what I like in games so much...two series I would add: Shadow Hearts (its dead but nothing has ever really captured the horror RPG like it) and Dynasty Warriors/Samurai Warriors (Yes the first game came out on the ps1 but it was a fighting game, nothing like what we have now)

Jak n Daxter was the reason why I got my PS2..the best platforming ever was on the PlayStation 2. Amazing video!

I would've included the Ico and shadow of the Colossus games as well even though the series kinda fizzled out with The last guardian, those first 2 games were enchanting.

In Yakuza 1 dubbed Mark Hamill voices Majima also- Yakuza 1 and 2 have a HD remaster combo pack on ps3 and WiiU.

I thought Fatal Frame was such a cool concept. Never got it since I am not that great at survival horror games. I have recently gotten into the Karamari games with the Switch rereleases. So much fun.

All great choices! It's a bit niche but I'd call out Disgaea. That series has been NIS' bread and butter for nearly 2 decades now.
