Same thing here. In last 3 weeks lost 9 lbs. I have HPB slightly on high side, and blood works shows per-diabetes. I started taking 400 mg/day of Magnesium bisGLycinate and felt on top of the world. After 3 wks,. I had a strange reaction. Since I am hypothyroid I seemed to have developed Raynauds sysd. so if I touch something cold or feel cold my fingertips and fingers turn white then bluish! When I ate, my palms would redden. So I quickly got off the Mag. My stiffness is back!! Now will talk with my Dr. as my thyroid markers went down too. All my research said that Magnesium Glycinate would be good for controlling HBP, and blood sugar, and nervous system and thyroid! I will have to find a Dr. of Functional Medicine. Doctors just want to medicate with pharma instead of getting to the root of metabolic problems.

Hi dr, can you do a video on low potassium? I work in the hospital and so many patients are low in potassium. Thank you!!!
@KovietUnionDefector7 ай бұрын
With the benefit of channels such as yours and Patrick Holfords book regards optimium nutrition. I helped solve a life long migraine issue my husband suffered from. Doctors in hospitals could not work out his issues of frequent dibilitating migraines overthe years. He started taking magnesium suppliments not every day but when he remembered along with D3, k2, zinc and C plus every now and again multi vitamins and sometimes a B complex plus probiotics. He built up his levels and now the headaches which we always blamed on barometric pressure changes have totally gone. He did have high blood pressure too....but now that is to normal levels too. It disgusts me when big pharma tries to ban individual access to knowledge. Because frankly our doctors are ignorant of vitamin and mineral deficiencies etc. I think it should be manadatory for doctors to do due diligence to test for things like blood and urine tests to make sure we have the right levels of minerals and vitamins before any drugs are prescribed. Thank you for your hard work Dr Ekberg.

You can test all you like but it will serve you nought if the pathology labs are deliberately returning negative or normal readings for the tests you sent off for - this is alot bigger than you think. It is a well-known fact amongst the relevant ppl, that no test for any sort of parasite ever comes back positive anymore. Don't bother with the tests, just start a parasite cleansing protocol by yourself and see the difference!!! I say dump the medical system - the only ppl working in it now are either fearful sellouts (no courage), oblivious idiots (no brains) or deliberately evil (no ethics). Either way you don't want anyone like that coming anywhere near you in a medical capacity...

The champion in the content of organic magnesium, potassium, iron, calcium is the seeds of industrial hemp. Industrial hemp contains almost no cannabioites. 100 grams of seeds contain 700 - 400 mg of magnesium. Three tablespoons of ground seeds in porridge, sour cream, yogurt, simply eaten with water, more than replenish the body's need for magnesium. Hemp flour helps cleanse the intestines of helminths. Good health to all good people!

I never ever knew how bad anxiety can make you feel, I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Also, I've been having dizsiness/lightheaded feeling for a while now, I don't know if it's to do with magnesium deficiency, but it's not going away even after taking mag...

ReMag may say Magnesium Chloride but it is a picometer sized, same size a plant absorbs minerals at. It is also a stabilised ion of Magnesium which means your body doesn't need to digest it to breack it down. It is absorbed directly into the cells starting in the mouth. This in the best Magnesium I have ever found because you can get much higher therapeutic level.

I’ve been taking a low dose magnesium supplement (150mg as bisglycinate) for years because I didn’t have any of those symptoms, and my diet is fairly nutrient dense. Then I heard that sauna use (which I do frequently) can deplete magnesium. So a few weeks ago I doubled my dose as an experiment. My sleep has gone from good to excellent. But amazingly and unexpectedly it has fixed an itch I have had for decades, and which all the creams I have tried over the years haven’t had much affect.

Also going to try one with where I break the diet with one meal and see how much one meal affects my system. Right now it took over two weeks after I stopped the carnivore diet for my IBS symptoms to come back.

I’ve had muscle cramps in my calves for years and years. I recently went carnivore (day 37). I’ve been getting really bad cramps at night time in bed. I am feeling fatigued and tired at times. I do miss my chocolate as well. And previous years I had insomnia issues. I do suffer from anxiety.

I thought we were supposed to have a 100mg of magnesium per 1000mg D3 for d3 to be effective?
@meisterha84547 ай бұрын
Magnesium- chloride and magnesium- citrate are both salts, which means, that they dissociate in water into Mg++ and the acid- part. The Mg++ is always the same, regardless if it came out of chloride or citrate. So magnesium- citrate and magnesium- chloride should be interchangeable with regards to magnesium- supply.
