On a side note to #1, Triple H (the first time), Vince McMahon and Shane McMahon all tore their quads while in the state of California: Triple H in May 2001 on Raw in San Jose, Vince in January 2005 at the Royal Rumble in Fresno and Shane in April 2023 at WrestleMania in Inglewood.

All 4 members of Evolution have won the Royal Rumble. Three of them have won it twice. And two of them have won the WWE Championship with their Rumble Victory. Also all 4 of them have lost at Wrestlemania the year they won the Rumble: Flair (1992) lost to Savage at WM 8. Orton (2009) lost to HHH at 25. Batista (2014) lost (along with Orton) to Daniel Bryan at 30. And HHH (2016) lost to Reigns at 32.

One other fact about Triple H and his quad injuries is that he always tore his quads in tag team matches and when he returned both times, one of the members of the tag team have become a world champion that he'd challenge at WrestleMania. In 2001, it was Jericho as Undisputed WWF Champion whom he wrestled at WrestleMania X8. In 2007, it was Randy Orton as WWE Champion whom he challenged for the title in a Triple Threat Match also involving John Cena.

A random one I've remembered: Chris Benoit meticulously read a passage from the Bible from Elijah, which describes a son being resurrected. His last match was against Elijah Burke. Just a weird coincidence and entirely useless, but that's the point of wrestling trivia.

A strange coincidence I just noticed while watching your video was with the very last segment when Triple H tore his quads. Both times Teddy Long helped him to the back on his right side, carrying him up the ramp and it looks like the guy on Hunter’s left side is the same guy both times, I’m just not quite sure of their name so both times Triple H tore his quads the same two people were there and helped him get to the back in the same orientation
@Somnogenesis
@Somnogenesis 4 ай бұрын
I just had to go back and rewatch that bit after reading your comment as it seemed so implausible! And if you look carefully - though it took me about 3 more viewings - it becomes apparent that the bizarre 'coincidence' is actually just due to the video using an extra shot of Triple H being helped to the back in 2001 out of sequence, after they've talked about his 2007 injury. The main giveaway is that Teddy Long is in his referee's outfit 'both' times, whereas in real life he'd long given up refereeing by the time of HHH's second quad tear. Plus, if you look carefully at H's kneepads, note they're plain black in both pictures. Yet if you rewind a few seconds from the second picture, in the shot at 11:06 that shows him right when he sustains the 2007 tear you can see that he's wearing a second, white layer of padding (or whatever) underneath the black pads. When it goes to the shot of him being helped up the ramp 'again' at 11:15, though, they're back to just black. That is, the second picture of HHH being helped up the ramp by Teddy and the guy in the red shirt belongs to the exact same moment as the first one, just a different angle, even though they're talking about his _other_ quad tear at the time 😆

Rumor was he had pectus excavatum as a kid, but he said that's not true, it's just a defect where the muscle doesn't go all the way across. Scott Steiner just has deviating pecs from age and overgrowth, things don't stay put forever. Jericho has a less severe case as well.

Your thumbnail isn’t even correct! Sasha Banks has defended it more just not as successful. You should probably understand how word work before you say them. Man this channel is nothing without Simon Miller!
