In 1986 I had a lot of smiles trolling stoplights in my Omni GLHS. Still miss that kind of fun. The idea of a Ford Flex moving like that is amusing to say the least. No Bimmer wants to get blown out by a fridge with wheels. This video took me back in time when I had a dealer circuit to look for sleepers. Wonder how my wife would react to a stage 1 tune on her Alltrack!

Definitely a well curated, unexpected list. I wasn't surprised by anything here, but I also spend way too much time thinking about this stuff.

I love my Ford Flex EB. Almost as good as my 1991 Dodge Spirit R/T was.

Any thoughts on autocross sleepers? I've had thoughts about a 2019-2020 Elantra GT N Line in H Street.

Lots of potential sleepers in GS and HS. In GS you have the Buick Regal which made this list...2.0T power in the GS which could be had with a 6-speed manual, and available AWD with the 2.0T (auto only though). HS has tons of stuff I'd love to try, however many are getting old, which means near impossible to find stock and getting close to the sunset rule :-/ One modern car I think is a potential autocross sleeper is the Audi RS3 in BS.

@@fastpaxSCR Think the Regal would run competitively with the Civic SI that seems to rule GS? Those darn things really scoot out on course (especially when Ron Williams is behind the wheel).

It is weird seeing someone who can actually drive make a video like this. Not bad weird just different.

So what tune and bolt ons do you suggest for your #1 pick?
