If I to pick between Marvel's Avengers and The Day Before , I'll take the former because the game itself can still be playable offline and I can still buy the game's disc on either Playstation or Xbox , The Day Before on the other hand were too many promise yet it failed badly , it makes certain games like Forspoken and Redfall more like a playable games by long shot

Even with the day befores crazy issues, itll still be more entertaining than the gameplay loop of avengers lol Attack an army of bots that are all the same, grind for gear that doesn't change cosmetics, grind slightly higher bots, rinse and repeat. I played for a day and it was mind numbing how boring it was.

You can access the single player stuff in 'Friday the 13th' without an internet/server connection, at least on PC you can. As long as you have the game downloaded, just select 'Offline mode' from the game's main menu. You will have access to the Virtual Cabin, the Challenges, and the Bot matches (although you will have access to only part 3 and part 5 Jason as your level is set to 0 by default).

@@Gawlakman Unless Gun Media pushes an update to disable it, we should be able to. Before I wrote my original comment, I tested it by powering off my PC and disconnected it completely from the internet. I turned on my PC. Started up Steam in Offline Mode. Started Friday the 13th and selected 'Offline Mode' from the menu. I was still able to do the Virtual Cabin and the Challenges with literally no connection at all to the internet. So even when Gun Media turns off that final server, we should still have access to the Offline stuff. Offline only gets you access to the Virtual Cabin, the Challenges, and the Jason matches. I wasn't able to access any counselors, DLC packs I had purchased, or any of the Pamela/Tommy tape collectibles in Offline Mode. It is important to mention that I was only able to test the PC/Steam version of this, as that is the only version of the game I own. I do not know what will happen to the console versions after this year.

They really got to stop relying on online servers only to run games when people who may want to play both single player and multiplayer won't be able to. I did not know about Friday The 13th I still have to try to play it, and they are doing this with The Crew 1 as well. 😢

Biggest issue with streaming games and movies - not being able to have access to it when you want to.. you don’t own the thing that you pay for. If this was back in the PS2 days or OG Xbox. They can’t come to your house and confiscate the game you bought. Friday the 13th is my favorite horror movie franchise and the game was a love letter to fans. Suck they’re going to take it away even if you bought the game. Fortunately, I have it on disc.

It's really a Sad how many Good Games are dissapeaeing Now in 2023, FRIDAY 13 THE GAME stiil remember how FUN it was playing it on PLAYSTATION 4 in 2013 with My two Brothers and a Good Friend like a Yesterday in 2013 over 10 FREAKING YEARS Ago, these are again the Reasons why I'm feeling an old just as 21 someTimes. RUMBLEVERSE is the BETTER Version of FORTNITE in My opinion, sadly that New Free-to-Play Game relased in a Last Year 2022 will be Dissapeared in Now. One of these Games like that ROCKET ARENA is a Game what I NEVER heared before and it's GONE soon that's EXTRA SAD. 2023 have been an AMAZING Year for Gaming but these Dissapearing Games and WII U/3DS éSHOPS shutted down are the DARK SIDE of 2023. 🎮😢

All other battle royales sucked in comparison to Rumbleverse. Rumbleverse was the best game that came out that not enough people gave it an actual chance. It was a tragedy that it went away the way it did. Definitely the must fun game I have played in recent memory and no other game came even close. Fortnite sucks period
