Now as of 1-2016 anything 15.99oz and under can go First Class Mail Package. The costs have increased as well. The best thing is to go to the USPS website and print up the costs. Make sure you also compare the rates between the commercial rates AND the retail rates! KNOW the difference....

Try U-Line to buy large quantities of bubble mailers, etc.

Thanks, Charles. I love Uline! I buy a lot of boxes from them, though I've found I can get my bubble mailers a little cheaper elsewhere.

Are you going to antique auctions because you are getting some great items which would be seldom found at a thrift store. Great vids.
@planetalissa95029 жыл бұрын
+TheGatorMan Picker I do love those auctions! Around here though things are pretty dead in the winter so I have to rely on thrift stores where the pickings are definitely slimmer, though I have discovered some gems out there!

I am confused... I TRIED to sell items on Etsy...They were removed because the were not "handmade". These items you show don't seem handmade. 🤔

Vintage is okay. Made items are okay if part of A craft kit. Or items are craft supplies, put the made non vintage (less then 20 years old), in a nice craft item

Thank you this video was very helpful!! I want to start my own online vintage store but I want to know what I'm getting into a bit before I start. I was thinking of starting on Ebay though. However, I know Etsy is great for niche and vintage things like I want to sell. Have you ever sold on Ebay or only on Etsy? Do you think Etsy is a better place to market vintage items or is it more of a personal preference?
@planetalissa95028 жыл бұрын
Hi Bri, sorry for taking so long to get back to you! It really is a personal preference. If you don't have a lot of items to list, Ebay might be a better bet. With Etsy it's tough to get enough traffic and make many sales without a lot of items in your store. That said Ebay's fees are a little higher, though you can list for free, and at least in some cases the selling prices tend to be lower than Etsy.

Okay that's really good to know! Thank you so much for the advice!! Wishing you continued success as a re-seller. I really enjoy your videos and I'm glad I found your channel. Best wishes! -Bri

All good information in all you're video's but i live in Belgium ( Europe) and our language is Flemish, and that makes it a lot more difficult to sell and ship articles. The shippingcost in Europe is quiet high what is a major problem when selling on internet.

this is info that could have been presented in a 3 or 4 min video... i tuned out a she started a 2nd go with envelopes.... it probably is good for beginners, but a bit misleading; as even though she has "vintage goods" they are pretty much the same items over and over according to what she says... that's not my vintage store stock and probably 90% of all vintage. our challenge is many things require boxes and envelopes of all sizes and often box in box shipping,,,just finding the boxes is maddening and expensive. i do partial refunds on shipping so that people are paying real cost. one reason i can do that is one of my local coffee houses. i get all their new, clean boxes they've just unpacked.. they are a great source for clean, like new, small and medium boxes.
