There were these dusters made many years ago, with the same material as the spin duster. You were suppose to charge them before you used it. You needed an old school CRT television to do it. You would charge the duster by rubbing it across the television as you turned the tv off. The static electricity was then imparted in the duster, and you could then collect dust with the duster. It worked about as well as your spin duster.
@mayapple366 жыл бұрын

Static is how the spin duster is supposed to work as well, like rubbing a balloon on your pants, the action of it spinning is supposed to generate static, which in theory pulls the dust up and sticks it to the brush, it doesn't work though.

I've wondered how these companies manage to get away with all the false claims and false advertisements. Where's the CONSUMER PROTECTION AGENCY been while this has been going on? These companies have elevated the way to rip people off to a new art form. And it's time we start speaking out and demand these companies are held to the letter of the law. Some young people aren't aware that this type of thing is illegal because they grew up seeing it happen all around them. But folks, there are laws against this type of crap and it's high time we demand those laws be enforced.

They don't even spend the money for an infomercial. The most you get is a 30 second commercial with some fast talker cramming in as much bs as he can in the alloted 30 seconds. Three words... CONSUMER PROTECTION AGENCY.. call or email them when you purchase that next pos product they lied about to cheat you out if your money.

I bought the Egglettes from the Dollar Tree for a buck! Glad that I didn't pay the As Seen on TV price! They work really well spraying them with Pam first rather than using oil. The instructions say to boil for 8 to 16 minutes depending on how soft or hard you want them (that's a waste of energy just for eggs) and they also say to use a spoon to go round the egg before plopping them out. Works every time but some of the sticky bits are a pain to scrub out. I went back to the good old fast boil for 2 minutes, turn off the burner and then leave covered for 10. They are easy to peel too. Eggs whites are fully cooked and the yolks come out perfectly fluffy.

Love the great reviews - could possibly see myself wasting money on some items. Glad I found this video and happy to subscribe.. Keep up the great & realistic reviews.

You buy them, you pay for them plus postage, they're crap, you send them back, you pay for postage, they refund you minus postage, you have paid what you paid to buy them, therefore, You don't send them back, they have sold you a piece of crap and get to keep the money. They don't care.

You. Is why I think of it twice, look-up reviews, and go by or e, etc and go look at stores if have it so if not good I return it. I don't have that issue often as some other products are more & don't have the money anyhow or don't need & not in the market to solve an issue may come up that needs to be saved.

Great video and great information. You get right to the point and your demonstrations show very clearly the information you are trying to convey. As someone who has fallen for some of these products I'm glad to see your tests reflect my results. The next time I am tempted to buy a as seen on tv product I'll check to see if you've tested it first.

Great love your product reviews. So many times we waste money on products that are not what they advertise. Keep it up!

Funny thing is, I would not purchase any of these products, even if I hadn't seen this video! Smarten up consumers, don't be so naive, and stick to the simple things that really work!! Remember.....the internet is chock full of scam products, most of which you'll never be able to return for a full refund.

William j Flosi Sr. Amen! Buyer beware. You can haul junk back to the store and throw it at the manager. But you can’t do that to Internet scammers.

Im from Australia so we don't have shops to buy these 'as seen on tv' products but i went downtown yesterday and there was a little stall in the middle of the mall full of this stuff and heaps of it i have seen you review which was cool haha
@MV606 жыл бұрын
I've noticed quite a lot of them are being advertised as also being in bigw and aus post shops now. Sure you're an Aussie? We say city or town's name, not downtown, and shopping center / shops, not mall.

"as seen on tv" isn't usually in regular stores here either (mainly because most of it is trash solutions desperately looking for a problem to solve).

I was warned about the Wish order site. People got ripped off and robed by them!!!! I WILL NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM THAT SITE! Once again, buyer beware!

Thank you! Product manufacturers and advertisers are almost universally dishonest in virtually everything they claim. We need more people like you to expose their theft.

We need more of this because throughout my consumer habits I have always bought junk because I wasn't able to test it till I bought it.

The first time i saw egglets i decided against them on two factors. A. I avoid kitchen items that only do one thing. Remember hot dog cookers? B. Egglets need to be cleaned just like anything else eggs are cooked in, so no advantage there either. Easier to break and lose too. The cop cam sells for $6 on ebay. Better off with tbe pen cam in the same.price range which is much better disguised. No extra lkghting on the pen, but i think it would still serve many useful purposes.

Egglets are great for those with hand issues like RA that can't peel eggs. And they are silicone so won't break. You can dishwasher them too

The egglettes actually work really well and are very easy to clean up, as long as you use a spray oil with them. I don't have a dishwasher and it takes me all of a minute to clean them after I use them.

Wow i really enjoy your reviews. I feel they are thought out, clever, but not a bunch of time wasted over talking. I appreciate your advice and work and videos. I actually trust your reviews which is important because I am a sucker for as seen on tv stuff but never get it because I don't want to purchase or waste my time and or money on nothing but I don't want to miss out either so i look for reliable reviews and have a hard time doing so.

I like your straight to the point vids! No rambling thank God! I find them useful and interesting. However, I’m living that dusting thing! I’d just clean up the floor or whatever after it sling dust everywhere. It seemed to do a good job in my opinion!:)
