Trust me, as someone who had to be raised by the internet please teach your kids yourself. They may not see the bigger picture now but When they get older they’ll appreciate it much more because it came from the one man they should respect the most. That should stick to them much longer than a KZbin video

Rubbing colonge into the skin was something I used to do. I also used to see people on tv spraying the mist into the air and walking into it. I never did that...

Thank you for these warnings. The one that I'm glad you highlighted was the over application, so many fellas smell like they were submerged in a cologne tub for hours before going out it smells good at the start and then it becomes real obnoxious. The worst I remember ,was a guy who wanted a scent that will get in the room before he entered it and stay there longer after he's gone. I learned from that one.

Always great vids sir. Today I purchased the 30ml/1oz. sizes of both Terre de Hermes and Burberry London. Those smaller sizes for those particular scents fit perfectly as I don't need many sprays of them to compliment me and I also won't wear them throughout the year as frequently as others that I have. Knowing how to use one's fragrances both in situations and amounts to own can help make the fragrance experience much more enjoyable. Also, knowing when it's best to get for example a body spray version of a scent (i.e. Coolwater and Tommy Bahama St. Barts as a couple of examples for me) vs. the traditional EDT, etc. can even change the enjoyment, value and usage of certain scents. Changing tastes are a thing as well as you mentioned. I swore by YSL L'Homme 10 yrs ago along with D&G Pour Homme for about 20 yrs up until recently but have mostly concluded that they've both ran their course with me (the latter mostly due to the current formulation). All in all, it's good for a person to take their time and add incrementally based on their own take of a fragrance while having the discernment in finding a place for fragrances that are utilitarian (while not being unattractive), enjoyable, pleasant or a love at first sniff. It will usually be of little pleasurable and much remorse to have fragrances that after spending time with them are realized to be off putting, counter to one's taste or just not very good or useful and that can happen on everything from a more expensive popular niche fragrance that runs north of $200 to bargain bin fragrances at local discount stores that can be had for under $10. When you really don't want it, the small amount of money spent doesn't really matter: resentment still kicks in. Enjoy your fragrance journey fellas. Saaaalute 🫡

Mistake #11 using cologne as a “shortcut”. Too many guys buy cologne, and neglect wearing decent clothes, or having a good skincare routine. Cologne is a finishing touch, not a foundation. Don’t bathe in cologne as a substitute to dressing well or being charismatic. It’s tacky, and in places like Northern Europe or Japan, it’s considered extremely rude.

Heavy sprayers are perceived as vulgar in many cultures. I tend to avoid direct contact with the skin because the molecules used in perfume will be absorbed and enter your blood steam.

Dude... I am questioning your way to impose your rules... like "I know the rules" hey don't take it too personal here ok, but honestly who are you lol? perfume is personal and when I agree with some points in your video, I also disagree with some. Perfumes & clothing : it's a very good way to make the perfume last longer. especially if you have dry skin! I know speaking for my dry skin experience & moisturizing doesn't help. I can give you a lot of examples of perfumers that actually advise you to spray on clothes... are they wrong? I don't think so. Moreover the perfume on the clothing looks like very much more like the perfumer want you to smell it. Why? because clothing is neutral and won't change the nature of it. Because how can a perfumer know how a fragrance will evolve regarding your skin or mine?... No, clothing give a neutral base that helps last longer and make the experience more appreciable if you don't overspray.
