Triple H wanted Hogan to win the belt at Backlash 2002. The original plan was for Hunter to retain, but then after the crowd pops for Hogan coming back in red and yellow, Hunter actually pushed for Hogan to get the belt back. Weird I know.

Think of the amount of people who got injured back in 80s, then think of the amount that have been injured just on smackdown or raw.

ThatUndertaker v Hogan match was on the PPV that was my first introduction to wrestling at a friends house on DVD lol. At the time "I thought well... they're fighting and big boys it makes sense" of course now I know how much of a stinker that chokeslam was haha. But Brock Lesnar slaughtering the Hardyz, Angle vs Edge (off memory that was the same ppv) and the HIAC Jericho vs HHH is what made me give wrestling a chance

The restart of the Starrcade match STILL MADE SENSE!!!! HOGAN HIT STING WITH A BAT BEHIND THE REF'S BACK MOMENTS BEFORE THE LEG DROP! HOGAN STILL CHEATED! BRET STILL DID THE HEROIC THING! @@optimus2008 I just mean in the moment. In the moment, nothing seemed botched. It wasn't like Warrior missing his cue at Wrestlemania or anything. As a viewer, things didn't seem to go off plan. To me it's not a botch unless the mistake undermines my suspension of disbelief; nothing about the Starrcade match did that. It just seemed to be a monumentally bad decision until Bret came out. Then it was like 'oh, that's the plan' I agree that it would've been Better if Hogan wasn't a douche but I think folks falsely recount the actual match as a disaster when it wasn't. It's was booked bad but it went according to plan. I can't call that a botch

He couldn't take the fact that Sting was an will always be more popular and overall better than Hulk . I don’t know if Flair was actually booked to take the pin in the Tower of Doom match or if it was just a result of how messy the whole thing was. At the end you can see Hogan and Savage exiting the cage, then Savage suddenly runs back and pins Flair because they’d apparently forgotten the match was supposed to be decided by pinfall and not an escape.

The 1998 match against Warrior was easily worse than the 1996 triple stacked cage match. The major problem with the cage match was the position of the cage which made lighting and filming it really hard, while the Warrior match was a genuinely bad match that came after Warrior's terrible rambling promos leading up to it.

The really awfull part about that match against the giant was that they were kayfabing the "murder" of the giant during the entire PPV. Because of that this awfull match was all over everything else on the card flawing all the other matches. Plus the internal logic of tat storyline is total bs if you think of it just a little. No police questioning hogan, no ambulance looking for a maybe injured maybe dead giant, nobody contacting Andre who was giants kayfabe father. And then Hogan still entered the ring in full wrestling gear with entrance music and everything despite everybody telling us the match was off due to one of the contestants being thrown off a building. WTF.

Hulk Hogan's WORST Pay Per View Match was against Yokozuna at WrestleMania 9. Any wrestling fan should know that. That should have been on this list. Plus I don't care what anyone else says, but Hogan vs. Triple H. at Backlash 2002 and Hogan vs. Undertaker at Judgement Day 2002 were Good matches in my opinion. I'm sure there's at least two other matches that were worst. And say what you want about his match against Sting at Starrcade 1997, but that match was better than most of the other matches on this list; except for Hulk Hogan's matches against Triple H. and Undertaker back in 2002.

The Hogan Sting match is the moment WCW was doomed for sure. That clean 3 count utterly deflated 100% of all the steam they had built up. It just jobbed out the Franchise. I still wonder if the ref were paid off nicely by Vince McMahon. From that point on, WCW lost its truly golden storyline and just flopped and twitched until it died.

@@Austin-gj7zj Yeah, there's no doubt about that, but they make a lot of these little mistakes, and they're all pretty young. So a lot of times I question if they know what they're talking about when it comes to anything before the 2000s... but yes, lots of fun content

7:48 How could you not mention Hulk trying to drive Taker's bike up the ramp, not being able to get it started, running away & then returning to get the bike. This happened & it hasn't been edited off the network!
