@@stuartoreilly2019 Shame, because when Orton actually cares about what's going on he is legitimately one of the best.
@stuartoreilly2019
@stuartoreilly2019 5 жыл бұрын
He is one of the best and he probably does care. Jericho, Edge and Christian all said that he is a perfectionist in the ring and when he or someone else fucks up, he gets annoyed (eg the stupid comment to Kofi). My point is, because he doesn't do the flippy dippy BS and have 10 minute matches that dont have 400 fucking high spots, instead preferring to actual tell a constructed story through 'wrestling', he doesn't get the marks popping for him. Look if the flippy dippy, car crash wrestling is what you like, enjoy it, but Andy Murray and WhatCulture even suggesting that Randy Orton could 'arguably' have not fulfilled his potential is fucking laughable.
@johannesmakila2459

I get the feeling Cobb was a) trying to preserve himself as the G1 is a punishing tour, the like of which he may not have done before and b) keeping his head down in a 'pay-your-dues' kinda way. He could well do good things in NJPW in the future, but he'll need to add a strong-style-esque striking game to his repertoire to go over there, and fill in the gaps between his fantastic spot-work.

simple fact...if his name was Randy Smith and not Orton he wouldn't be a 3 time champ never mind 13...he never had to elevate his game because he's a legacy

Yep, just like Shawn Stasiak, 7 time world champion; Camacho, five time champ; Tamina Snuka, 5 time Divas and women's champion; Curtis Axel, former undisputed champion; and Bo Dallas, who was champ just like his brother. Oh, and don't forget that Orton started out in a group with Ted DiBiasi Jr, who is just as successful as Orton, right?

Y’all are silly as hell!!! Randy IS UNDOUBTEDLY one of the best pure wrestlers of ALL TIME! Y’all trippin everything he does in that ring is pure finesse smooth moves and has a great physique with a great look and a reptilian type gimmick that comes from now where and the times he held that title is testament to that. RKO!

What he doesn't have in terms of in ring "acrobatics" he makes up with his smoothness and INCREDIBLE in ring psychology. he is the definition of the perfect wwe style wrestler and can put on very good matches with his "boring" style. but thats why he didnt actually make the list lol

Orton was main event material as soon as he left OVW!! He was on SmackDown for one year and then the next immediately on Raw, joined Evolution, battled Foley, then SS 2004 beat Benoit for the WHC. What the hell do you mean he wasted his potential?

No Mr. Kennedy? (the Rafael palmero of wwe?) No Jake the snake who murdered his career with alcohol at least 8 times Also: Chris candido and sunny(drugs) Thunderbolt Patterson (great promo who was too busy playing the race card on promoters rather than work on his loveseat) Sabu: if your including hakushi for only having highspots and no basic skills you gotta include sabu esp when you throw in the pot and pills) Jay Youngblood (as good as his tag partner Ricky Steamboat if not better...but drugs cut everything short including his life) 2 cold Scorpio...great worker years ahead of time with his high flying but unreliable to where even ECW gave up on him and wwe kept but didn't dare push Ken patera kurt angle before Kurt angle then he busted up a mickey d's while high And I'd wait and see with swagger he was shittily booked and the victim of an IDIOTIC decision to abandon kayfabe with the tea party gimmick when fox news started digging rather than embrace it...we the people coulda worked but it needed kayfabe to be credible instead him and Dutch SHIT on it likeky on wwe orders

This is going to be unpopular but I think Jeff Hardy wasted some of his potential. He did win the big one but he should have became and maintained a star at least between 2010-2015. Now he should be in line for one last run with the big one but that’s probably not going to happen.

Hear me out on this one: Shawn Michaels. Can you imagine his demons being slightly less rampant in 1998 alone? The issues with Bret might not have led to the Screwjob. He might've gone into that rivalry with Shamrock or Owen Hart after Bret leaves instead of Undertaker again. That means no casket match injury. We get Shawn in ring during the Attitude Era.

No ULTIMATE WARRIOR? i LOVED Ultimate, but even I have to admit, every time he was fired or left a promotion, it seemed like he had even FEWER skills when he returned! I don't know, maybe he wasn't motivated to improve his in ring work? The reason why RANDY SAVAGE was his greatest opponent, is because Savage would push him to do more than 3 or so moves!
